Like Lana del Rey she became massively famous well before her first album even dropped, I gather she started adopted that whole designer gangster shit about the same time she got famous. I don't care for her music, but I like what it's doing. Songs like Bad Guy and Bury a Friend are really minimalist and don't rely on big booming choruses or dumb trap beats. It's generally pretty weird and I'd love to see more weird pop.
