Despite its stigma for being overhyped, girls wearing Nirvana™ brand t-shirts, overrated, blah blah blah, I still think it’s still a good album. What do you think?

Uh mods this guy just posted a baby penis

Kurt had great pop sensibilities, but that's really all he had. He was able to turn a fundamentally abrasive style of music into something catchy and commercial, and that takes a great deal of skill.

dude the shirt is like 10 dollars at target

anyone and everyone has one i'm sure

doesn't mean they are into the band

those design t-shirts at target are cheap as fuck and less expensive then the other brands on the rack

great album, bunch of guys are like "so bad, so terrible" because its popular but it really is good. in utero is better

Agreed except bleach belongs in B tier

respectable opinion

The fact that they’re on the rack in the first place tho

Kinda shows how culture is pushed by corporations in subtle ways. Incessant for whatever label owns the brand now

>Bleach in c tier
Are you fucking retarded?

I could hardly ever get past Polly even when I was young and stupid and thought I liked Nirvana

fpbp

Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl look strange here

Completely agree.

overproduced wallpaper. every track sounds the same and I grew up with this shit. It was music of 13 year olds

A side has been too overplayed for me so it’s hard to offer a real opinion.. B side is still great to me though.

You know an album is corporate trash when the guitar bass and drum tone are exactly the same on every track. Its craprock like tool and every other edgey corporate band.

This guy is correct. And Bleach is a good album too, In Utero was just the best.

Seether.

Smells like teen spirit is an actual irritant to me. Hey it might have some merit or whatever but if it even pops into my head I feel angry so I can't imagine actually hearing the song again. I'd probably strangle someone.

What are some non crap rock recommendations

>no guitar solos
>nonsensical "2deep4u" lyrics that mean nothing

In my opinion....it doesn't rock. Not a big fan of that Kurt guy either.....

where's fucking mtv unplugged, whore

Shut

territorial pissings and in bloom and polly and something in the way are all the exact same tone. I also wish the textures varied more, it wouldn't hurt the cohesion of the album, it's not like the songwriting and dynamic shifts do that already.

Abolutely contrarian.

PERFECTED NEVERMIND TRACK LIST

>Smells Like Teen Spirit
>In Bloom
>Come As You Are
>Breed
>Sliver
>Lithium
>Polly
>Dive
>Drain You
>Lounge Act
>Aneurysm
>Something in the Way
>Endless, Nameless

Yeah, I was always under the impression that Nirvana was overrated. Though having listened to their albums, (specifically In Utero) I've developed a deep appreciation for their music; Nirvana rocks. As for Nevermind, I'll simply put that it's one of pop's glory days. Serving as not only a great piece of melody, but also individualism.

Something In the Way is the only track on it that aged like wine. The rest is unlistenable.

I think the album is great. It’s iconic for a reason

In utero is better imo but man the isolated tracks are so addicting youtube.com/watch?v=fhytVuLIFCQ

You're cool

Bleach 10/10
Nevermind 10/10
MTV Unplugged in New York 10/10
Live at Reading 10/10
Incesticide 9/10
In Utero 8/10
With the Lights Out 7/10

I'm admit Im a self loathing pleb. I grew up on crap and got to old and disinterested to find new music, but I would say purple by STP is a good example of having different sounding sounds. Like would it kill Kurt to play a piano or some acoustic tunes. He seemed to be on a very tight leash or just wasn't as artisitc/creative as he would have others believe. I mean he was trying to be like the beatles and couldnt vary his sound up? The guy was a big contradiction and poser.

Acho que cada álbum tenha sua característica distinta, então não tem como dizer qual é o melhor

it's their worst piece but it's still quite decent, maybe even good
