Hell awaits
Darkness descends
Kill em all
Ride the lightning
Reign in blood
Beneath the remains
By inheritance
No more color
Epidemic of violence
Spectrum of death

These albums might only be better in the context of "being thrash" aside from RtL which has the exact same writing style and overall formula of songs that MoP has, only with worse songs

Fact of the matter is, Metallica and Megadeth have verry little material that is "pure thrash" compared to contemporaries who focused on speed and aggression all the time, and it's why they were better....they were like thrash metal...but ascended into just the general metal realm, they could thrash but thrash itself wasn't a gimmick for them and they never played by any rulebook.

new world order by testament

kill em all

Yeah because Sepultura is a real obscure band man, it's not like they went nu-metal and gained a whole fanbase of bros

sepultura is just horrible

pic related

We all know sepultura fell off but that doesn't mean arise isn't one of the greatest metal albums ever recorded.

Sepultura literally had 1 (one) good album, and it's still better than Metallica's and Megadeth's entire discography

Old Sepultura is great, but my point remains, they're not as big as Metallica but no more underground. Every nu-metal kid was blasting Roots, and since then the modern black guy fronted version of the band was just like a lame precursor to Lamb Of God brometal

Why the fuck have none of you tards say tortured existence or pleasure to kill yet?

cringe

You didn't even post the right one

It's true. If you think "For Whom The Bell Tolls" is a thrash song you're fucking delusional.

Sabbath could have written that song, it's heavy metal.

I wasn't cringing to that part. Just to everything else.

Oh...well, that's your thing man. Metallica and Megadeth are bigger and better than pure thrash bands because of their ability to ascend to just heavy metal. That's why they can be compared to the true greats like Sabbath, Maiden, Priest, etc....while bands like Exodus and Dark Angel are more comparable to common street punks than metal gods.

Sodom, M - 16

thats not even their best album

i thought these were lyrics to a verse to a thrash song at first

Fuck ya

Strafing down demigods certain death
Coming from the stars, lord of all
Dark rift rise, flourish life, perish man
We destroy ourselves, cease to live
Children's blood feed the dead sea of flesh
Catastrophic fall rest in hell
Flaming corpse, screaming eyes, watch it die
Walk among the dead, pick your grave

Not even the best Metallica album you fuckin boomer

Hello

How did this extremely mediocre band become of of the most popular bands ever?

Tornado of Souls the GOAT

and who could blame you for that

bolsonaro: cool guy grande dia
sepultura: horrible band
brazilians: have shittaste

>I really like RIP
>Tornado of Souls is the best
>dat solo
Why do people keep on doing this?

rip in piece polaris: shit music. TORNADO OF SOULS: fucking good solo.

This

it’s a fucking great solo, blow it out your ass queer.
also Hangar 18 has incredible solos (that I loved to play on Guitar Hero)
and the riff on Take No Prisoners is killer too

>American thrash

I mean I'm complaining that people always pick Tornado of Souls. It's nice and all but it's the most basic song and there are a lot of other good songs with good solos and good riffs to choose from.

Where are my Show No Mercy chads at?

you’re not wrong, it is kind of the most straightforward song on the album. but strangely that’s what I like so much about it. it’s catchy, with a standard structuring and still manages to fit a beautiful solo in.
I’m usually not one for standard conventions either, so I’m not sure what it is that really makes me love that one in particular so much, but I do.

Polaris and Holy Wars are excellent bookends too. start strong, finish strong. only weak point is Dawn Patrol but it’s not like it’s a dealbreaker or anything

everyone with decent taste knows it's either Holy Wars or Hangar 18;

>everyone with decent taste knows it's Five Magics
