Marc Bolan is cool.

His influence is extremely underrated. Glam Rock/80s Metal bands worshiped Bolan. Not just the look or the arena rock sounds, but the songwriting too. I think he doesn't receive credit because he was a teeny bopper phenomenon and the artists he influenced were ashamed to admit they loved him.
