Is this where your taste in music comes from? What other people on a website listen to? Do you not have any individuality? Why don’t you listen to any artist and judge them by how much they speak to you? Why do you have to create presumptions on every artist based on their popularity on any given website? Music is a language that can convey meaning beyond any linguistic connotation. Why do you rely on the curd of the people? What’s stopping you from enjoying the music you whole heartily enjoy? Even then, do you only listen to extremely obscure music for the novelty? Why can’t you relax? Why can’t you just enjoy life for once?

I tried out this album because it had a psychedelic tag, but it was boring radio friendly pop shit so I didn't listen very long.

I don't really like Igor and I listened to it the moment it came out because my friend was really excited for it. Didn't know the reception, didn't know the RYM score, because they didn't exist.


Most people are like me, and even if they did know the scores it's much less likely for people to force themselves to like or dislike something. Most people just enjoy music and just continue doing that. Shedding so much light on the few people who do use music as a status and not as an artform (at least in music communities, there are quite a few people who don't listen to music who use it as a status, but you're on Yea Forums not tumblr haha) only causes it to look like a bigger issue than it already is.

Go enjoy your music, friend. It's all we really have.

IGOR is a fantastic album imo and I don't care about rym or music review guy

I like the raw, and sometimes experimental sound of the album, especially where we live in a world where the charts are dominated by super crispy clean and polished songs, it felt like a nice change of pace
I also personally, find the album pretty catchy and really comfy
I can also appreciate Tyler putting himself in a different situation and, going for a more RnB influenced sound on the album, rarely rapping at all, especially since I never really liked Tyler's songwriting previously
