If this is him trying to be impressive by inserting a super sly music reference for people to see to impress others and be a cool guy, that’s more obnoxious, but I wouldn’t throw this out just yet either. I’m the absolute last person to be saying his, but often times what seems like an irrepairable deal breaker can just as easily become innocuous if there is some other facet of the person you haven’t yet uncovered.

I think listening to Merzbow, especially like OP, is actually a pretty significant indicator of detachment and alienation. no, it isn't. Especially if you've been mixing on the same laptop speakers for hours. I would check the mixes on headphones usually and adjust. It's not ideal but I didn't have good monitors back then.There's no law of physics that says it's impossible. Ive done it. It wasn't my own test either it was an online test.
