it's the atrocious fake accent that gets to me, among other things. Foals and The Horrors are also good bands from that time period, and you might like Spector for that "nostalgic for things I havent actually experienced" feel.
Odd question, where do you live? Also a burger, and living in a place where you dont need to drive sounds really appealing.
I find the accent funny when I actively pay attention to it, but im also able to tune it out quite easily.
