Daydream Nation and Goo are equally cohesive, but Daydream Nation is bigger, so it's better
I still like Goo more because it was the first Sonic Youth album I listened to, it has emotional value to me

I agree that Sister and Evol are just as good if not better, but I gained an appreciation for DN only after digging through their entire discography. The album feels like an amalgamation of all the music styles they went through up to that point in their career. It does feel really long tho.
