Yeah, she doesn't speak to me anymore. She liked buttrock, Imagine dragons and Avicii, so i don't feel so bad about it. I still kind of like her normie ass tho.
i sent to a stacy i have a crush on BASED EMMURE songs and she loved it so much that she turned into my gf, currently we are having sex while i'm posting this and blasting BASED EMMURE with her

you can do this just as long as you do NOT act like it's something important. even if it's your favorite album. it's an underhanded way of telling women they have bad taste, which is fine if you're in a relationship but not when you're trying to pick her up for the first time.
i dont send music recommendations to anyone because they will literally never listen to them because they aren't really interested i music, they just pretend to be
I was recced Billy Elish while driving a friend to a Johnny Marr concert. It was then that I knew the ticket cost on her was forfeit and that I should have asked another...
based Emmure shitposter
We both liked musicals and sang Les Miserables songs together
yes, it went well like any normal social interaction, we went on a date and had sex, ultimately it didnt work our cause i had to work at the time and didnt have enough time for her
you can also just do it without any of your paranoid hidden message bullshit, sometimes you just want to share what you care about
i know all of you think every single human interaction goes exactly the same way YOUR interactions go because in your minds its impossible to live life differently than the way you did so far, but in reality lots of people do things very differently and have quite a bit of success with it
i just lament the user whos going to kill himself because of that tweet without understanding its a worthless shitpost and not the truth
You gave me hope there for a sec
all the girls ive ever liked had similar music taste as me
It was January 2016. I sent her some Ween. She sent me some of Montreal. We started dating in March. We saw both bands together in NYC.
We moved in together in July of 2017.
We got an aquarium full of fish in May of 2018.
We went on a tour of Europe together from March-April of 2019.
She is everything to me. She has helped infinity with my music career, song writing, interest in cooking, and about a million other things. She brings out the best in me. We listen to music together every day, and have a corner of our living room dedicated to our vinyl collection (we use Spotify on the PS4 way more often lmao).
Kevin Barnes signed our Hissing Fauna vinyl "May your love last forever long...or, for as long as you want it to", because that was the album we related to the most.
very gay
your life is a bad thread
this and checked
You must have shit taste
pretty much
I just like a lot of shit and also hanged out with weirdos
Yes
That's a really sweet story and I feel really happy for you guys. Also, please post your music, I wanna hear.
I usually exchange music recs with a male friend. I also send music recs to my dad because I know he listens to them. Sometimes I save some albums in a pen drive so that he can listen to them in his car.
Sending music recs to people you just met is generally a bad idea, 95% of them are normies and don't care.
Thank you friend. I only have some soundcloud demos but here's what i plan to be the lead single from my upcoming album:
soundcloud.com
Also here's a ween cover, if that interests you. I made a Ween cover album, "Pure Guava: Easy Listening Edition" for laughs with friends. It's not out because I didn't want to be known as the ween guy before i put out my first real thing, but i have more tracks if you like this one.
Based arthoe
>the velvet underground
>nick drake
>fucking bold and brash
based and i hope wish nothing but the best for you user
i bought her an album as a birthday present. i found out through someone else that she thought it was boring.
you have the receipt?
Good advice
Incels take notes
Thank you my friend. That Velvet Underground is actually cross stitched, I made it for her for her birthday the year we started dating. It's her favorite album!
She painted me the Bold & Brash in return (our birthdays are only days apart)
Whoops here it is, right side up (sorry, on mobile)
Thats kinda wholesome
don't have a crush
haven't had one in years now actually
what the fuck man that's great. gives me hope i guess.
Never thought I'd be talking about the benefits of cross stitching on Yea Forums but here it goes:
It's so easy, and soooo relaxing. Its literally just color by numbers making little boxes, and it always looks so impressive despite being a therapeutic hobby that takes very little effort or money. After a five minute YouTube tutorial you have all you need to make a really cool project while you watch TV or other hands-free stuff.
you have a very nice singing voice
ill have to try it some time, thanks
I burned my favorite album for my crush in high school and now we're married :)
I usually get full of bitterness and scorn when I see someone happy on this site but honestly good for you man
Yes, my ex gf. We were together for 6 years after that.
I also sent a playlist to a girl I kinda liked after that but only after she sent me one first.
Not really a crush but i have recced Brockhampton before they blew up to a girl and she became fan of them instantly. Also recced her some random songs here and there that she's liked.
>corner of our living room dedicated to our vinyl collection (we use Spotify on the PS4 way more often lmao)
creative oxymoron to reveal this is bait
how the fuck can you be a vinyl collector but be fine with spotify's lowest quality
She broke up with me and then said she was still listening to my favorite music to try to win me back. Weird
Comfy story mate. I wish something like that happened to me.
I've once sent a jazz cover of Lamb of God to one of my female acquaintance of mine that was into metal, she ignored it
yeah that's how current girl and i started talking to, she's ultra normie so i showed her a bunch of shit i'm into (I remember she cried with a Tycho song lol)
still haven't done shit with her cus i'm a huge autist
Not a girl I like just a good friend who is a girl, we smoked weed and showed her long season, she loved it, was a really nice moment
hell yeah, happy for you
also Alopecia is such a great record.
I collect vinyl too but I still use spotify for pure convenience or stuff I don't have on wax yet
no. the last time i spoke to any girl about music was 5 years ago when i accidentally laughed in her face after she told me how she listened to anything from busted to slipknot. she was also fat
this thread is cringe as fuck
No because women don't have the intellectual capacity to appreciate music beyond its social relevance.
If she's with me, she'll pretend she likes it (notice how every girls music 'taste' comes from their ex) and if she's not, then my reccomendations, totally independent of their quality will be irellevant
how can i make this happen to me....
>tfw I made a girl a literal mixtape and saw one of the songs on it on her itunes
>that means she would've have to gone out of her way to download it because she liked it
felt good bros
My 16 years old bipolar crush loved my darkwave and industrial recommendations, a genre I was just getting into back then (I was 16 as well).
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH SAAAAAAAAVVVVVVVVAGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEDDDDDDDD WORLDSTAR WORLDSTAR
wholesome shit user good luck
I sent a girl brian eno's Another Green World and she sent me back 801 Live, pretty based
sadly we were both in relationships at the time
MORE LIKE BELONGS IN THE TRASH
HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHA
"Going out of her way" to download a song isn't difficult or time consuming, it means a lot less than you think it does. Sorry man, but be realistic.
Ur mum a faget nigger
based bloomer user
mature bro
it's more than nothing
and it wasn't a particularly well-known song either
>Made a mixtape of NIN, KMFDM, White Zombie, Ministry, Atari Teenage Riot, ETC to some girl in 1999
>Columbine happens next day
>She reported me to the office and got me expelled
>I still have a copy of that CD
To be fair, she asked for reccs. I doubt she listened to them still though lmao. Also she doesnt even listen to full albums
Why would you post screenshots of messages? Cringe
Post it user
emmure-posting is a thing now?
theyre from my rural home town
Adorable. Best post itt
I want this but with a guy
how do i make it happen bros?
I have a crush on a guy with patrician taste and we send music recs back and forth all the time. I've genuinely gotten him into some of my favorite albums and he's gotten me into his. Most guys send me pleb shit.
Sadly I'm pretty sure this guy doesn't like me back but whatever.
I'm a beta and unironically hide what music I listen to in general
Tracklist:
1. Nine Inch Nails - Happiness in Slavery
2. Danzig - Blackacidevil
3. White Zombie - Thunder Kiss '65
4. Atari Teenage Riot - Into the Death
5. Strapping Young Lad - SYL
6. Skinny Puppy - Killing Game
7. Ministry - Filth Pig
8. Fear Factory - Body Hammer
9. Godflesh - Predominance
10. Rammstein - Ramstein
A little bit of back history:
-This girl was gothic and listened to Siouxie and Lydia Lunch. I decided to give her a mixtape of industrial music I had in my collection cause that's what I viewed gothic music as at the time.
Wednesday, the following day, I was in class when the principal walked in with the dean and dragged me to his office. I was in a room with some metal heads. After waiting awhile, the dean came by and asked us questions one by one like "Do you or your family possess fire arms", "Do you know where they are?", "Do you own violent games/movies/books/music?". We all were sent to some boarding school "just in case". I saw her parents and my dad arguing on the way out. And for my last year there I was viewed as a nut job.
I got sent creep by a literal asshole
that's a nice story user, thanks for sharing :)
based
I see normal text convos get posted all the time with people calling it autistic or cringe, not realizing 99% of normies say lame shit to each other all the time. it's as if the incels think every conversation is meant to be you propositioning them for sex and them saying yes or else you're a failure. a little bit of small talk before fucking is standard even for hookups, and it doesn't matter what it's about.
>by a literal asshole
what did he mean by this?
whore
imagine wasting you're time listening to "music" when you could be having sex instead
why arent you having sex right now Yea Forums? what the fuck is your excuse?
Ouch
I'm high on weed and hydrocodone
not even ur mommy?
A little more information:
Her parents were concerned on the day of columbine after hearing about it on the news. They burned all her black clothes and threw away her cds, then drove to a Wal-Mart and bought white and pink clothes to replace them.
The reason I still have a copy is because I made 2.
this is one of the most blatantly homosexual things ive ever read on this website
stupid post
Man I'm so happy for you.
I'm glad I'm mostly happy by myself because I could never be so lucky.
I remember making a girl a 3 CD set when I was about 16, took me ages to burn the .wma files on Nero.
It was mostly Pink Floyd because I was obsessed with them as a teen. Yikes.
Nice man! I really dig it. I will definitely be keeping an eye on your soundcloud and hope to hear more.
Thank you my friend =]
I’m hoping to have this thing done by October but who knows...lots of recording left this month and then mixing. Seriously, thank you for the confidence boost to keep going!
