I find it funny people saying the albu is good because they 'took a risk'. The definiton of a risk is that it can go wrong, and it sure went like shit here. I'd also argue that the change in sound was calculated to mask the fact that the songs were weak as shit, which would be even more apparent if they'd played it straight.
