Very nice track. Personally I would have panned some more instrument to the right, as it feels very left centric, don't know if this is intentional. Also at the end I would pan the instruments a bit wider.
Nice vibe man, but I think the kick is a bit too shallow for this track, lacks a bit of punch. Also the bass could be a bit more upfront.
Listened to your Elliot Smith cover. Very nice. I know you are going for the lo-fi sound, but I think it would be nicer to double track the guitar and pan if left/right, and center the vocal more. Also make the vocal tracks line-up more. Very good nonetheless.

I think it would work well in the context of a metal track but I also have a couple tips for just the clip you posted
1. put a hard limiter on the main track so you don't have any annoying clipping sounds
2. a bassline, even if its just some kind of drone, would fit well under the chimes and make it less one note tonally
