This is really funny. I knew that this iteration of the boomer meme would manifest itself once I started to hear the term dadrap used. This is what true equality looks like- the blacks and whites are becoming one. We are solving race issues in the world. We are helping give the little black boy some power in the future. Because of my son ain’t got no power, then by Mary and Joseph, imma fucking kill you.
based, sounds like one of the only black guys I'd like to hang out with
Dude shut the fuck up, jesus christ. just enjoy the meme.

Eazy bodied that actor wannabe studio gangster on Real Muthaphuckin G's.
Whatever happened to black music? In the 60s and 70s black musicians were writing wholesome, romantic music while it was the white rock and punk artists pushing degeneracy. Great love songs and music promoting self improvement. Even Hip Hop up until the early to mid 90s had an air of class and intelligence about it.
Now every black musician seems to be releasing songs about drugs, clubbing and one night stands. What happened?
>Kids! Get that education!
It was the peak of West Coast Hip Hop, that's for sure. The only time LA actually dominated Hip Hop. Apart from Kendrick and Odd Future there hasn't really been any huge names to emerge since.
Also as much as The Chronic is one of my all time favourite Hip Hop albums it did seem to be a passing fad that was killed by 36 Chambers and Illmatic and the resurgence of East Coast.
Wouldn't say the west was killed, bomb albums were coming in droves in '93, '94, '95 and '96. I'd put The Chronic in a tie with Illmatic as GOAT rap albums.
Eazy and Snoop pretty much did the exact same thing, sell dope in Crip neighbourhoods while being very loosely affiliated with their sets.
Besides Snoop is a significantly better MC than Eazy.
reminder that most black men in the 80s thought that rap was a corny fad
Imagine the state of black rap “music” where saying “yo yo we actually have chords and melody and strings we bring you dat shit” is actually a novel and unique aspect of your music .
what are some other G-Funk albums as good as Doggystyle?

you don't know about the degenerate black music from the 60s and 70s, only about the wholesome ones. stop being ingenuous.
or do you think white people in the 40s and 50s only produced wholesome jazz standards like Fly me to the Moon?
>sociopathic easy-listening
Everything DJ Quick have done.
Looks like Terry Crews in a bucket hat.
I worked with a crusty old black dude who sort of had this demeanor, although he was more into trashy early-2000's crunk and pop rap. Swell guy most of the time.
