Vinyl fags BTFO

reminder that CDs are the ultimate pleb filter. vinyl is for hipster retards who want to show off their record player + post malone and kendrick lamar. streaming is for normies and hipster poorfags who dont have enough money to buy a record player. true music appreciation in 2019 means collecting CDs, owning a car with a CD player, and driving around listening to albums start to finish. the mental stimulation needed to drive the car enhances your perception of music and the changing landscape provides scenery to be synthesiacally associated with the music.
>aesthetic as fuck yet not as entirely unwieldy, space-consuming, and non-portable as records
>great sound quality
>limited supply means lower likelihood of stimuli oversaturation / passive listening
>not pretentious

Or, you know, you could, like, download thousands of albums and connect your device to the car usb input and, ya know, not waste a ton of space on cds...

Good thing my car has bluetooth

absolute cringeworthy and plebpilled response, for obvious reasons

Do you only know how to use groupthink phrases to describe things, or...?

bruh, must you have everything explained to u?

i love you OP, thank you for this extremely based post

Based CDCHAD. Glad to see there's another heterosexual on this board like me

That was more of a judgement than a question, dumbass.

>not listening to music while you walk or bike
through airpods
Pleb

>listening to music on a walk
cringe
>on a bike
enjoy your road accident
>incorrect usage of spoilers
lol
thank you fellow gamers

>he doesn’t collect cassettes to listen to on a train
garbage taste desu

thats too impractical

>great sound quality

It is not "great" sound quality. It is actually, scientifically better sound quality.

For example, Vinyl cannot never reproduce the bass frequencies that are honest in regards to the original master tape: CD is superior in reproducing these the way they originally sounded on the master tape.

Lots of information on this subject.

How the fuck am i supposed to get my fix of Unholy Grave and Agathocles splits if i don't buy vinyl? Wait for some faggot to make a rip?
I could, but i am that one faggot that rip everything i get on vinyl and upload it to the internet.

and they are real cheap to buy

Faggot can't even afford a record player in hid car

cringe thread

Based.
Although I have a vinyl collection, many times I prefer to buy CDs.

Are you aware of the fact that AD conversion is always lossy?

Truth is that it depends, many albums have only shit tier mastering on CD, of course the vinyl is going to be better in those cases.

>Analog to Digital conversion
>44.1 kHz 16-bit anyway
Yikes

>mental stimulation needed to drive the car enhances your perception of music

are you absolutely retarded? cds are cool, but no. people would just buy an aux cord or have bluetooth in the car. cds are pretty obsolete, sorry user.

Op isn’t nearly as retarded as u faggot

(blocks your path)

When I buy music I buy CDs and rip them to my computer. The actual CD rarely gets played.

Not this shit again

I'm stupid, can someone tell me what's wrong with this post?

What kind of bands release on vinyl but not on cd?

the same type of labels that only do limited cassette runs, youll find all those fags on bandcamp

i agree only on the listen the album front to back i hate this whole singles bullshit

Grindcore, noisecore bands do (and many other bands in different genres), some get released on cd eventually (often as discography cds which are great), but sometimes not. Also older stuff that never got a cd release and there is quite a few of those.
Some of them yes but not all of them.

OP is obvious bait and people are taking it

Shhhh. Let him think he's making a point.

The good thing about collecting MiniDisc is the fact that all that modern zoomer nigger garbage isn't even available on them making it one of the most patrician formats

I prefer having Apple Music over CDs atm. I like being able to just download an album and being able to listen to it whenever I want. Especially since I listen to a lot of music while working.
I do want to start to build up a CD collection at some point though. Just in case Apple Music gets shut down or something.

Does the rip actually sound the same?

Idk I haven't compared

>Some of them yes but not all of them

youd be surprised

Zoomer detected

Even tape has better longevity.

>user gets baited by shit tier shitpost
You actually think op is actually trying to make a point. It’s blatantly obvious shitposting go back to Facebook

both bad bands
archagathus is the patricians choice

You gotta live in a swamp for that to happen

Oh yeah for sure, I love when my music has screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee over top of it. Tape media set us back technologically by at least a decade

Likewise.
No, Warsore is, Archagathus have some good stuff for sure. Thing is i've been "collecting" AG and UG for a long time now, no point quitting now.

Can I just take a moment to say fuck digipaks.

Absolutely, jewelcase or bust

most of them

Well yeah they're trying to cash in on the fad market. CD has already proven it has the longevity to be consumed more than vinyl. Vinyl was big during its time and it's only going through a small burst of life now. It'll die again.

Almost every jewel case I've ever owned has busted with light usage. One of them even broke the first time I tried to open it.

I like digipacks as long as they're a gatefold so that they have some actual thickness to them. The ones that are literally just a sleeve get lost in my shelf.

I can't stress how good it feels to have not fallen for the vinyl meme. There is no reason for it. Zero
