Kurt mustaine

mac

Probably that one. Can you imagine what would John write on social media.

Lennon was already on the decline when he died, still had some good songs here and there but it's not as tragic as a lot of artists dying right at the peak of their career like Hendrix or Duane Allman.

young drug addict Eminem

Or Jaseh

not this lol FUCK LENNON

Attached: fuckjohnlennon.png (1438x1227, 1.85M)

but he was explicitly NOT a big loss for music

Jeff Buckley and Jimi Hendrix had years if not decades of good music ahead of them. It’s possible their best work was ahead of them.

D. Boon, Darby Crash, or John Macias
One of those three

Stephen Foster

Buckley is interesting. He had talent no doubt but he was in a pretty creative slump by the time he died

Ian Curtis

nobody because nobody matters and the sooner nobody realizes this the better music will be

nah, it's a great thing he died because new order is better than joy division

what the fucking fuck is this shit

genuinely think Jimi would have ventured into something close to no-wave just based on being a speedfreak based in NYC

Nope. Fuck John Lennon and fuck You for liking him.

>commie
Retarded mutt.

Sorry, but user's right this time.

Daniel Johnson

Nah, he was washed up by the time he died. Most of the 27 club were bigger losses.

Clifford Brown.

Beethoven composed some of his best music after going deaf, though ...

Brian Wilson's confidence.

RIP to the greatest female boxer of all time.

Jah. Zero debate here.

We can talk about the second biggest loss for music but Jah will forever remain at the top.

Another victim of Clapton. Don't know how that murderer gets away with it.

Frank Zappa

Attached: frank-zappa-1967-london-1.jpg (968x966, 67K)

Lennon was on the verge of doing a new wave comeback at the time of his death and was even talking to Paul McCartney again. He could've been massively successful during the 80's

I believe the Beatles would've reunited at some point during the 80's.

this. i like all those latest fall records, i need new fall records!

Euronymous

Fuck Varg

My personal pick. Ronnie James Dio
You can tell in those final few years he was struggling. The stomach cancer was eating away at him.

That's not how you spell Morrison man

John Bonham

Fucking this.I miss him so much.

Cringe.Dilate.

a drag isn’t it?

Probably Jeff Buckley dying just as his career was taking off

This guy obviously.
>Mysterium is an unfinished musical work by composer Alexander Scriabin. He started working on the composition in 1903, but left it incomplete when he died in 1915. Scriabin planned that the work would be synesthetic, exploiting the senses of smell and touch as well as hearing. He wrote that
>"There will not be a single spectator. All will be participants. The work requires special people, special artists and a completely new culture. The cast of performers includes an orchestra, a large mixed choir, an instrument with visual effects, dancers, a procession, incense, and rhythmic textural articulation. The cathedral in which it will take place will not be of one single type of stone but will continually change with the atmosphere and motion of the Mysterium. This will be done with the aid of mists and lights, which will modify the architectural contours."
>Scriabin intended the performance to be in the foothills of the Himalayas in India, a week-long event that would be followed by the end of the world and the replacement of the human race with "nobler beings".

cringe

>Lennon over the hill.
Somewhat subjective there. Double Fantasy made it to #11 in the US prior to his murder -- before "sympathy sales" kicked in. Are sales the best barometer of artistic worth? No, but they can be considered. But, okay. Let's look at his songs. Woman could've been his best realized song since Imagine or his stuff with The Beatles. Watching the Wheels and Beautiful Boy got tons of radio airplay. I think his Double Fantasy stuff stands up well when contrasted with his pre-1980 solo material.

just imagine what old man elliott would have recorded...

based

Attached: mom.jpg (400x400, 27K)

How do we know he was really deaf? Maybe he was just ignoring everybody.

John Lennon beat his wife.

not a big loss for music

see

the shift from people listening to albums to streaming

45s never killed the album though

If Lennon was alive today I wouldn't be surprised if his views became more edgy and conservative a la Morrissey since he was always a contrarian edgelord

WE WOULD HAVE HAD AT LEAST 2 BY NOW

mp3

John Lennon beat his wife.

honestly, its gotta be Mozart or one a them niggas. Can't really compare Jeff Buckley or w/e.

it wasn't a big loss you retard because they had already produced historic works and established a legacy

So did Lennon

If Lennon was alive today he'd basically be a carbon copy of McCartney, he'd still make music but it wouldn't be as good as his older stuff and would be doing shows with James Corden while headlining Coachella or Lollapalooza every decade.
