I REPEAT MYSELF WHEN UNDER STRESS
I REPEAT

>At the time, Bill and Adrian thought that Beat was better than Discipline. For me, this is an indication of how far the band had already drifted from its original vision.

So which of the 2 Matte Kudasais should have been canon?

>he held a gun in his hand
WHAT GUN

FREE

The one labeled as the alternate imo. The extra keys/guitar help fill the space when it gets too quiet in the original.

THIS IS NOT MY BEAUTIFUL HOUSE

YOU'RE A POLICEMAN

TALK TALK TALK TALK

THIS IS A DANGEROUS PLACE...

I'M GONNA HAVE TO WRITE A CHORUS

when was the NIGHT
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG

if you follow Adrian's solo career, he's written a lot of what he labels "pop rock" albums. It's in his blood

Beat is eh, but I like most of what's on TooPP

seeing Adrian Belew in his power trio next week, what should i expect? His set list includes plenty from Discipline

Sellersville?

Beat is essentially a more accessible version of disipline, but theres some really good songs on it, like Neal & Jack & Me, and Waiting Man

yeah, should be a bit more intimate concert, being in an old theater. tickets were only around $45

I'm going too, thought those prices were a total steal.

Kino

BTW, that is a Fripp quote.

>For Adrian Belew, whilst extremely proud of the permutations Crimson has undergone since becoming a member of the group, the Discipline-era remains closest to his heart. “I think it was probably the best band in the world at the time! It was just the perfect line-up, and perfect combination of things; heavy, light, fun, and dark. I just think there was something absolutely marvellous about that band. That first record we did is the proof. It’s still ground-breaking. It still doesn’t sound like anything else you’ve heard before. A 20-something kid can put that record on and think that it must have been made yesterday, and I still don’t understand how we did it!”

Absent Lovers is the best song out of 80s Crimson.
