Good day sir how can I help u? Dog food or cat food? One kilogram? Would you like a dog snack with that sir? How about these dog toys? Yes we have cat shampoo
what the fuck kind of amp is that lol never heard about it. What is it, 20w? tube? been thinking about getting the Giannini classic T 20w tube with spring reverb which is pretty much a copy of fender amps, I'm playing mostly blues and jazz. Checked the price and it's half the price of the Giannini one. Do you like it? what do you play on it mostly?
Carson Morgan
Sammy is doing a good job, very based
Landon Campbell
10w, all tube, single ended. Loud enough to gig with a band without a pa. Yes I like it. I think the Alien Ace speaker is a bit nasal with a 800hz boost, they have another speaker more suited to metal which I guess is more scooped, and u can also use an aftermarket speaker like Celestion. I play everything with it and I like it. But you said "mostly" so it's rock and blues, and some old metal. Sounds like a good tube amp.
It only serves for female customers to look down on me
Lucas Williams
>when you are so much of a beaner you start to look like one
Daniel Roberts
sweet, thanks
Michael Lewis
Also look at T Miranda amps and Crow, they're good too
Jose Gonzalez
Is it considered cheating if you don't alternate pick every note?
There's Acedo Amps but they were expensiver when I checked What state
Gavin Murphy
Those cut off guitars are so fucking retarded looking.
Michael Diaz
Is practice scale a waste of time
Zachary Sanchez

Daniel Perez
>playing nylon string for 20 years >picked up a Godin Multiac Concert because I liked the way it feels >it's electric/nylon
I got a cheap Fender amp and it sounds lovely but this opens the door for pedals which I've never used before.
Any suggestions on what would go well? I was thinking perhaps my pedal board could be a reverb and EQ at the very least.
Brayden Robinson
to a certain point it's useful but instead of just doing scales you are better off learning fast solos instead, imo it's better investment of your practice time overall
Leo Peterson
Just get a zoom G3n and don't look back at this consumerist abysm

The shitposters are gigging
Jaxon Miller
kek he been hiding from pink suhr
Joshua Morris
just another question. Alien apparently ceased to exist? do you know when approximately this happened?
Leo Garcia
I just checked and couldn't find their facebook page which is where I bought my amp Their Facebook group still exists tho, and you can find Carol Arai's profile as the group admin, and PM her. U can also buy used
Jayden Parker
Wes Montgomery started at 20 but didn't he listen to music intensively before that
Michael Sanchez
He played banjo for years before that
Matthew Campbell
>tfw you hear that genuine Gibson™ Les Paul Standard tone coming from your amp for the first time
You only record instead of playing live so why do you need that big ass amp and cab instead of a 1w and a loadbox with a cheapy 1x12 just so you can hear yourself
Ryder Martin
The fuck. I play in a band
Jonathan Brooks
Playing Bang Dream does not count as playing in a band.
Ryder Bennett
Good guitars, bad music
Sebastian Powell
Is the Eminence gb128 any good?
I need something that sounds like a Greenback, has low sensitivity so I can turn the amp louder, and is cheap but also well made.
Ian Kelly
>plays in a band >lugs all that heavy, dated, limiting shit around >probably needs pedals too instead of just his amp's foot controller
the 80s are over you can use modern technology now
>playing covers at your local bars open mic night too funny
Lincoln Ross
Hi grandpa
Colton Murphy
The virgin bolt on player: Drops his guitar often, needs to make easy repairs Can't afford anything better than an MIM fender Has difficulty playing barre chords on a les paul because the neck is too flat. Fingers too fat to use upper frets
The chad set neck player: Has never dropped a guitar in his life, godlike motor skills and reflexes. Catches other peoples guitars for them. Owns a les paul custom shop, but plays a variety of guitars Can play beautifully on anything and everything Frets every note with perfect technique and precision. Even his fingertips have muscles.
sammy u there? watched some videos of the alien mars, seemed pretty nice specially for its price but I think I'll go with the giannini classic T. Found one for a nice price. giannini >built in boost >spring reverb >12" celestion speaker >20w It is pretty much a fender amp lmao. I think the only downside when compared to the Mars is that the latter has a fx loop and the giannini doesn't, but I don't think it is much of a problem since the amp hardly has a distortion so it won't scramble up the effects of any pedals I might use. found the mars for 1300 and the giannini I found one for 2000
>play beautiful music >nerd: lol you call that music? it's in 4/4 lmao. you didn't start when you were 8 you'll never be good. now listen to THIS: youtube.com/watch?v=8bRTFr0ytA8
Jason Gomez
by jazz circles you mean Yea Forums, right? yeah, I'm aware of his meme status there. I don't think this album is anywhere near remarkable but it is OK
Oliver Ward
Paul Gilbert uses a cheap Dunlop
Zachary Rodriguez
Pic is from the Zoom G3n manuel. Does anyone know if these low / high functions are related to the compression or they're a regular EQ within the compressor?
Beginner here, do I just follow all of Justin's lessons? I'm starting with a tele as well, does that matter?
James Anderson
I think anyone that actually delves into Jazz likes Scenery. typically. It sounding chill and poppy wasn't intional but because the musicians themselves are just trying to hang on and cover the songs.
Evan Cox
Wes Montgomery used his thumb as a pick (free) Yngwie uses a .30 cent delrin dunlop Brian may used a coin equal to about fifty cents Joe Bonermaster and Eric Johnson use a 60 cent dunlop
So yes
Jackson Reed
Guthrie Govan uses these. They are world class
Jaxson Cook
guthrie govan is paid to use those
Andrew Howard
And I use a piece of coconut that I shaped by myself
Because white people like it and white people bad, uncool, and outdated. No, really. Before that guitar was never going to get off the ground because only black people played it and everyone else was a race traitor and victim of jewish mind control set out to destroy beautiful the white culture of singing about summer flowers.
Nobody has ever disliked guitar except for hateful white people.
if you play master of puppets on it, the country pickups magically transform it into a square dance tune
Dylan Richardson
active pickups will give you more sustain, but you'll have to dial your amp in differently with less mids than you think you need (actives = mid boost built in but passives = pre-scooped)
Tyler Foster
It's an HH Suhr, one of the best guitars on earth. What do you think?
Andrew King
Where would that fall among Fenders current instrument lineup? I'm probably going to buy new.
Michael Thompson
Moderately expensive ($400ish)
Gilmour and fripp had custom instruments. If you want tone and sustain, build a custom guitar. Stock fenders try very hard to have thin, bright, snappy tone and no sustain.
Michael Reyes
What are those, little ‘59’s?
Jaxson Cooper
XD nice meme 9gagger jhaaahahahahaha !!
Hudson Taylor
they're from squier. but in terms quality the are a step below the mexican strats. the classic vibe series has basically replaced the vintage modified line.
Sebastian James
justin's videos are good resources, you can do it for as long as they are challenging you and you consistently get something out of the videos, when you think the learning curve is getting too small you can move on to other stuff. No, the type of guitar you have in the beginning makes no difference, as you get more experienced you will naturally lean towards a certain type of guitar but for now literally any guitar will do.
What theory do I need for playing jazz like Wes Montgomery
Parker Adams
Do you know how to play an octave on guitar?
Isaac King
i am ignorant but the bare minimum, I think, is being able to understand chord progressions and the notes/scales you can play under each chord of that progression
Jose Jones
All of it
Oliver Rodriguez
yes
how does that go when the chords are crazy
Robert Hernandez
Focus on the 3rd and 7th
Michael Anderson
can someone tell me what brand that amp is? never sesn it before desu
ah yes, the infamous bottle opener headstock. Very functional but still ugly, try again
Oliver Bailey
He advocates learning scales (CAGED approach) but it's more for knowing where the notes are cold on the fretboard and being able to change keys on a whim, not relying on patterns. Larger intervals sound more musical than seconds and thirds
retarded question incoming >middle range scooped what music styles this fits? metal, mostly? and >more mid range more clean sound? a bit twangy, telecaster-ish sound?
Easton King
lol
Anthony Myers

Brody Green
As I suspected
Adam Ward
>tappers >play a fucking piano or a harpejji
Ethan Miller
nice, user!
Leo White
It doesn't really matter, it all depends on the context of the music being played. You have to go with what suits the music and what sounds best for it
Jeremiah Wilson
Maybe we should
Matthew Flores
On 8-strings, are the lowest two strings B and F#? Or is the lowest string a B and there's an extra high string?
Brandon Reed
yes
Andrew Lewis
Is it a good idea to get a 2x12 and stick one G12M which has 96db sensitivity, for quiet playing at home and vintage tones, and one speaker with flatter freq response and more sensitivity, for more modern tones, and for more volume live? And a switch for alternating between them,
Aaron Johnson
shut the fuck sammy, your neighbor will beat the shit out of you if you dare to raise the volume anyways.
Aiden Green
96db is very loud, not for quiet playing at home
Jace Murphy
what's the best beginner 5-string bass?
Jaxon Baker
Many people do x patterns on 4x12s so mismatching in a 2x12 is fairly common i guess. Id rather have 2 heads and 2 seperate cabs and an aby switch
>buy 4k custom shop les paul >fretboard looks like a dry starterkit guitar >buy floorboard starterkit guitar >fretboard looks like how custom shop ebony should look like Based
Camden Bailey
>he thinks pores = dry fretboard you stupid bitch lmao
i live in a place with well mannered people unlike you.
Colton Brown
>he doesnt realize jcum and sammy are roman´s personas.
Easton Thomas
Hey guys I need help.
Really considering buying this bass, Warwick rockbass corvette 5, I want a good passive bass and this might be it. They have this one at GC for clearance right now and I just need some confirmation. I see some deals online going much cheaper but not sure if it's the same bass I'm dealing with.
i picture a favela a town in a mountain side so no i dont live in a favela, the roads are straight like an arrow.
Tyler Powell
also jens Larsen on jewtube is a great resource. he shills pretty hard but his content is top notch
Ian Cooper
lol
James Gutierrez
Any good guide for a first time electric guitar setup? I bought this Epiphone Les Paul Vintage Edition and I don't really know what I'm doing. The intonation is definitely off and there is a slight bow in the neck I believe.
i'm afraid jcope might kill himself if it keeps up
Dominic Young
Nah, beasts of burden don't have that kind of capacity. He's like a mule, you can wack him in the head with a 2x4 and he'll be to stupid to know it happened.
youtube.com/watch?v=u6brmxIO_EM just played link related note perfect feels good, first "difficult" song I've learned, took me about a month to perfect
good luck dude. any tips on what song i should learn next to 100%?

youtube.com/watch?v=VAIAKeUsLPw I try to learn different styles so I don't get bored. I've been practising link related on acoustic recently. I recommend this as a beginner slide song

You use your kitchen table as a workbench. That’s what trashy poor people do lol I’ve never seen a rich person with trash laying around their house either.

A lot of people consider alternate picking to be cheating.
im interested in the paul all walnut with t tops or a flying v, not sure about which one should i cop.
not interested in maple top les paul since i loathe maple
Mason Reed
Burgers are simply the Sambos' steak
Elijah Johnson
Not at all. Down picks sound slightly different than when you alternate, and so do up picks. It's situational really. Do what works best for you. Those people are retards.
