You could rightly call me a historical revisionist because my view is that history sometimes may need to be revised in light of new information or a recognition of past biases, but none of what the teacher is saying is "revised history" as far as I am aware.
His point is not too far from pic related, which is why he was punished and why he is dangerous to the ideology of white submission and tolerance of constant disrespect already being hammered into our heads in schools.

I think there's plenty of space to walk between the two camps. White guilt is dumb and the actions of your ancestors are not something you should have to apologise for. That said, they're not necessarily something to be celebrated either.

Slavery is still practiced in most of Africa and some of south asia, and was practiced pretty much everywhere but france for a while after we abolished it.
