That guy will probably be remembered as the Elton John of the 10s.
But every few months there’s some shitty pop piano ballad why would he be remembered?
Because he's more popular.
Ed Sheeran is great pop and will be remembered
Young Thug will be the only rapper who survives the test of time
As far as bands go there is not a single band I can think of that has any reason to be remembered
Nobody is legendary anymore. Being a rock legend ended in the 90s, being a rap legend ended in the 00s. And pop fans are too oblivious to have heroes....so yeah nothing.
Low tier bait
Kendrick and Kanye seem to be the only names that will survive the test of time this decade has just been trash pop and a hip hop revival
depends on where you look, people like sheeran are huge in britbong whereas stuff like carti and kendrick barely chart
there is nothing memorable from this decade.
its just stagnant.
rap is the same old crap
sheeran is quite mediocre.
Ed Sheeran is literally proof that being an incel is a mindset.

Will the 80s/post-punk revival scene (John Maus, most of Sacred Bones, etc) and synthwave/vaporwave be remembered? They're very 2010s
prove me wrong.
>are novelty acts made to play off the nostalgia of imitating bigger, older acts be remembered?
burden of proof is on you faggot cumbrain
I already dissed all your music, come back at me or stfu.
vaporwave will be remembered

vaporwave will be remembered
Does he really have to prove how Mr. Sheeran is mediocre as fuck?
True, my ears are not up to listening to his tedious songs again.
I'd rather listen to the wombles,

I fucking hate how often people say I look like this troglodyte.
I think they'll remember Woodkid(Neofolk) Gesaffelstein(Industrial Techno), Summer Salt(Surf-Rock), Empire of the Sun(Synth-Pop) and Mac DeMarco(Jizz-Jazz). Because their song mostly have a melody, which makes music memorable.
Kanye, Kendrick, Beyonce, Adele, Ed Sheeran, Daft Punk, Muse, Coldplay, Maroon 5 will be remembered.
Mumble rap/trap/dubstep/vapourwave/etc will be largely forgotten.
Ed Sheeran is horrible pop. His music was bad before he became famous (just listen to +, it's embarrassing) and his pop music is just as shitty. I cannot understand how he became so famous, he's not even good-looking. Reputation by Taylor Swift is a great modern pop album if you ask me, it's very diverse and with lots of ideas and little touches to every song. Compare Reputation with Sheeran's newest album and explain to me why they are both equally famous.
this
>explain to me why they are both equally famous.
I think you're really underestimating how much women love saccharine love songs. They can't get enough of that shit.
The only mildly redeeming thing about this decade.
Based. Tay is sometimes clowning with mainstream schlock singles but her albums deliver, and actually each of her album feels different so she isnt going easy route shitting the same music but try to deliver something different each time. Reputation was indeed good dark pop.
Listen, I'm a Tay fan down to my very core and even I admit that Rep had WAAAAY too much trap influence. It dragged that album down hard.
UK Drill will be the only form of hip-hop that will stand the test of time.
the spotify “all out 10’s” list has ed sheeran unironically as the cover. what does mu think of this carefully curated selection? open.spotify.com
>His music was bad before he became famous (just listen to +, it's embarrassing)
??? The a Team and Lego House some are his biggest songs. I'd hardly say + was before he became famous
