Seems like the pleb filter is working.

Just saying pleb filter repeatedly isn't an argument. There's about 45 minutes of really good music on Frances, but the remaining 30 minutes of ambient bullshit isn't even good ambient, it's not remotely compelling. Which means the record loses a lot of what made De-Loused so resonant and appealing in the first place. There isn't a note out of place, none of the interludes go on self-indulgently, and the longer piece actually feels justified as the centerpiece of the album.

post your MV best to worst mine is:
De-Loused > BiG > FtM > Amp > Oct >>>>> Noct
Deloused = FTM > Amp > Bedlam > (Cryptomnesia) > Tremulant > Noct > Oct
Just saying that the ambient isn't good is also not an argument, it works perfectly in the context of the album, it synthesizes perfectly with the energetic and almost cacophonous instrumentals. But after all, it just might be something subjective, I genuinely find the ambient sections genius, the album wouldn't be nearly as good without them, they actually have substance, artistic essence.
You got it senpai, perfect ranking
Octahedron is their best album imo. Then Deloused and Noctourniquet. Frances has some good tunes but it is mostly just random shit. Cedric even said most of the lyrics are gibberish and just there to create a certain mood, they don't actually mean anything.
FTM = Deloused > Bedlam > Amp > Noct > Oct
plenty of great moments, but too much filler, and it doesn't really improve on anything that was already done on de-loused.
