RECS: always got good tunes man im still pissed i missed ya show back during the artscape shit REALLY nice i love that classic peter hook chorus bass sound
soundcloud.com/lightb0dy/soilsoul >looping >neo soul >earth music Like this a lot, it does a good job of building up tension then releasing also hard as fuk maybe a bit repetitive but a cool vibe some vocals would sound nice i think

this is pretty good. Sounds like something blind banshee or carpenter brut would put out. The only thing that I would say doesn't sound great is that rising synth that comes in a couple times. I guess you were trying to create suspense or a buildup to a drop but it just added noise. It was too loud and distracted from the song which already sounded really busy and the beat felt like it was missing a note so it kept you on your toes. None of these aspects are bad, but altogether it made the song almost annoying at times. I would suggest changing the rising synth to a softer synth sound instead of that sharp and edgy sawtooth wave. Use a sheapard's tone instead of rising and then starting over, and the second time you drop the beat make sure it drops waaay harder. Add some slower percussion after the drop maybe? also, the whole song was buildup to a beat drop. It needs a bridge. This is not bad, though, I'll be checking up on your soundcloud to see what else you make bro its good
The thank you for trying this demo sounds sample like a watermark in the song in the second part because it's just sorta thrown in Other than that I'd dance to it if it came on at a party
Adam Gray
the demo shit keeps popping because of the demo synth I use x 20
first of all bro, nice voice if that's you. If it's not, your band chose a kickass singer for this genre. Sounds like zach mccoy, carseat headrest, or crywank.. Love that acoustic grunge sound, love how you aren't afraid to go hog fucking wild on the drums and ditch the lead for the bass. That "Hey!" at around 2:50 kicked me right in the fucking face and made me fall in love with the song. But, not as much as the solo around 3:10. Great lofi shit. Very, very well put together. What made it fun to listen to is that it sounded fun to play for every member of the band. I hope one day I see a steakfry vinyl at barnes and noble

me coming back to give some more recs since more ppl have posted
this is cute and light.
actually pretty decent compositionally, if the mixing was better it'd be so much better on the ears.
reminds me of Yves Jarvis, nice stuff!
Connor Jenkins
ohhh it is a watermark. Not bad then bro it'd be worth shilling that coin for a good program if you wanna be a musician. I can't say you'd be successful bc the industry is garbage, but if it's what you like keep doing it. I will say that it's a little generic, but the only cure for that is to keep making music to develop your style.
Nicholas King
>actually pretty decent compositionally, if the mixing was better it'd be so much better on the ears.
Is there anything in particular in the mix that is making it hard to listen to? Or does it all around just need a better mix
Thanks for all the feedback, I'm only just getting into synth design right now. My intention was to make a sort or abrasive electronic fever dream. Although I feel like I succeeded I think that youre right that the revving synth does get a little annoying and I could have done more to flesh out the track, like adding a bridge and maybe making the drop a little more heavy hitting. I'm definitely going to try and implement all this stuff. Thanks!

sit closer to the mic, use a metronome, and join a band. You can't have only guitar and vocals for every song, you need that punch of percussion and a bassline. Also, try screaming sometimes instead of singing. Golden child could've used it. Some bands for inspiration I'd reccomend would be silverstein, dinosaur jr, and summer salt. Emphasis on dinosaur jr.
Christian Scott
Absolutely no problem bro. I could tell you were kinda going for that fever-dreamish type of electronic music. The business was sick other than what I said before. Keep on keeping on

just listened to unclean and now I'm mad because it's unacceptable that your other songs aren't as good. You can make really good music? Why aren't you kicking ass like that in every song???
Adrian Cook
At some points the bass feels slightly airy, and some elements feel very distant and uneven, if you know what I mean? I think the track needs a bit more saturation and compression in some parts. I'm not particularly good at mixing myself but those are some issues I personally feel like existed in your mix. Apart from that I really liked it!
Evan Allen
woah dog can I like, suck your dick? Love the sound effects for the percussion and the synth melody. Nice and warm, but not soft and sleepy. Keeps it brisk with the bottle clinks and the cranking and the vocaloid-style synth harmonies.
Nicholas Edwards
The unevenness you are hearing could be coming from the 7/8 time signature, but I do know what you mean about the saturation and compression. I tend to overdo that stuff a lot so I figured I would make this rough copy and then work from there
Matthew Brooks
haha wow! thanks bro! I think you're going to love the track I'm (hoping) to drop next week. It's combing lofi hip-hop with future bass and vocaloid sounds haha
Lucas Wright
Thank you i appreciate ive just fucking around on guitar but ive got friends with some more equipment like 8 tracks and drum machines and ill try and record some better stuff soon

I just released a video for the last song for "memoria" now that I'm releasing the album in tapes in October now I got a label.
Decent. mostly bite sized tracks, chill out tunes. the minimal approach works, tape hiss is oddly comfy.
thesonglessbird.bandcamp.com >Somber and dark electronic music that creeps along quietly and eerily, but occasionally swells into violent walls of sound.
listened to the first 3 tracks. I like this a bunch (listen to my tracks and you'll see why). I'd maybe just try some faster beats, but that's just me. nice work. gonna listen to the whole record later on.
eerie as fuck. like a start of a bad trip but in a good way
