how much do you think an original King Crimson record would cost? I can't tell online which ones are legit and which aren't.

store owner guy in Singapore said he had a British first pressing for £800

WHY THE FUCK HAVENT THESE BOOMERS PUT THEIR ALBUM ON ANY STREAMING PLATFORM?

>he doesn't know

It's on Spotify now

Damn just checked, its on everything but apple music. Hate when that happens to albums

Van Der Graaf Generator>your favourite prog band

Its on apple music, but not the original album. Theres a few bonus tracks

Talking about Crim, which one of their shows is the best?
And miss me with that "Night Watch" or "Absent Lovers" shit, I am talking about the deep lore.

Coheed & Cambria's latest album was overlooked, but I think it had some decent melodic content despite its repetitive lyrics.

Vrooom Vrooom

hahahahahahhahaha

melody, rhythm, inciting feelings and grabbing you from your life and landing you in the music >>>>>>>> the distance to the Andromeda galaxy > lyrics
in prog rock, fight me.

Gryphon - red queen to gryphon three
Gotic - Escenes
Anglagard - Hybris (everyone probably knows it but still)

How about an underappreciated prog rock thread?
Case in point, Quiet Sun. Even if they made only one album.

ELP is actually good wtf

Trilogy=Brain Salad Surgery>Tarkus>Emerson, Lake, and Palmer=Works Volume 1>>Works Volume 2>Love Beach>>>>>The other shit
Im a huge ELP fan, it really disappoints me that they don't get as much recognition as they deserve. Emerson was a visionary for not just Prog, but for rock in general. The music of ELP is far better appreciated when put into the perspective that they were about a year or two ahead of their contemporaries throughout the 1970s.

do you like huey lewis and the news

so faggots who dont buy music cant get ahold of them

Heavy ConstruKction

i'm partial to Meddle, I'll take the harmless Seamus over the annoying Pigs on a wing bookends

how did prog manage to have mainstream success for a while?

lead was out of gasoline and we still hated commies, it was a glorious era

love is a place
& through this place of
love move
(with brightness of peace)
all places

yes is a world
& in this world of
yes live
(skilfully curled)
all worlds
