>KISS had a unique sound in the early days
Thin Lizzy and Alice Cooper already existed at that point and no one really listened to KISS until they faked a live album, so no. Like I said, nothing they did was relevant to anything going on or anything that came after, if 70s rock was grunge then Kiss would be Bush
It's the same song 11 times but sometimes it's good
>Thin Lizzy and Alice Cooper already existed at that point
And nobody other than someone ignorant of all threes discogs would compare them outside of the superficial elements and "hit singles"
>no one really listened to KISS until they faked a live album
Irony here is that you're a try hard fag who probably takes pride in being into slightly obscure shit, so you likely would have been a KISS fan if you were a teen in the mid 70's
Also, all live albums back then were "fake live" albums, there is no shame in the concept unless you're a brainlet, the idea is to give you the feeling of a concert at home, and it's awesome when done right....I take it you never bothered to listen to many real live albums, or bootlegs, because millions of them exist and they sound like shit.
>Like I said, nothing they did was relevant to anything going on or anything that came after, if 70s rock was grunge then Kiss would be Bush
As far as American hard rock and metal goes, KISS and Van Halen were by far the most influential bands, and they influenced a bit across the pond as well.
I don't know why I always argue with Kissfags, you always out yourselves as delusional with posts like these
>can't combat a single point I've made
>immediately results to insults
OK Adolf, just go fuck off and find your sippy cup, huh? It's clear you're talking about music you don't listen to and are basing your arguments on the fact that you think I'm as ignorant as you are, because you have a hatred for a band you never listened to.
Kiss blows
I already made my points, you just replied with a whole lot of nothing. I know exactly what those discogs sound like, Alice Cooper's third album (and the one that defined their sound) was already out by the time Kiss was still trying to push that Wicked Lester garbage.
Everything Dime did after Cowboys was trash too, by the way.
So you think KISS sounds like Alice Cooper? I'm sorry guy but if you think that, you're retarded. You must lump all 70's rock into the same category in that case.
Kiss sounds like monkey anus
Deftones, Nirvana, and Soundgarden are all poseur music for pseuds
Most people on Yea Forums do not actually listen to music. They're interested in it the same way women are interested in purses that compliment their outfits.
