If this was released under the Nine Inch Nails name it’d Be better regarded than TDS and The Fragile. Nietzsche himself could’ve wrote it.
Nothing else compares to this one

I'LL BE YOUR LOVERRRRRR
yeah I love me some Placebo
Manson never made a better album than NIN.
Manson in those days was more hard rock/metally than NIN who was more on the alternative side, it's kind of like two sides of the same coin and comes down to preference
For me, Rob Zombie was better than either though, fuck all the self important grandstanding and angst ridden whining, gimme fun halloween horror shit with danceable industrial metal
THIS. BASED user, BASED.
>better
Are you implying NIN made a good album?
NIN never did industrial until Year Zero.
That album was literally produced by Trent Reznor, it basically is a NIN album with Marilyn Manson doing the vocals.
This is even better
Wasn’t NIN always industrial rock?
Is this implying Manson was ever Industrial?
>Year Zero
But that's still Industrial Rock/Electro Industrial.

GET IT OUT
GET IT ON
No. NIN's mysic was more Joy Division-esque than Industrial-esque.
Listen to Construction Time Again from Depeche Mode then listen to Pretty Hate Machine. PHM is not Industrial but Synth Rock.
Then He added more guitar in Broken.
TDS is an experiment. What if we use a broken sound to harmonize with our Joy Division-like anguish? Dead Souls is the basis of this argument. TDS tries to sounds broken because it tells a broken story.
After this, He make Synth Rock.
For Industrial Rock I would redirect you to Too Dark Park. Industrial Rocks samples are used to highlight the distortion of the instruments.
Just play some samples over Year Zero and there you go.
Broken and The Downward Spiral are text book Industrial Rock roflmao
>Implying Holy Wood isnt better
ok, user
Too Dark Park is ELECTRO INDUSTRIAL.
Industrial Rock includes distorted guitars, percussion, keyboards, synths, drum machines
NIN has it all.
Skinny Puppy are far more EBM influenced, while having that harsh industrial sound, making them Electro Industrial.
He was touching Industrial during Portrait and again during Mechanical Animals (for the wrong reasons) then never.
Yes, Year Zero is Industrial.
Industrial was never about anguish but annoyance/protest.
>textbook

Cut down the preacher, he just lies
Burn all the books that closed my mind
Destroy it all, it's all untrue
How can I even breathe without you?
Industrial rock is an oxymoron.
Industrial music itself was rock based:
It's not about the kuricism but the musicality when you describe genres
Year Zero is metrosexual noise rock infused with funk and hip hop
>metrosexual noise rock
I’m crying
It's Electronic, Synth Punk, IDM and Digital Hardcore
EVERYBODY IS SOMEONE ELSE’S NIGGER
ITT people who aren't aware that it's basically a NIN album feat. Marilyn Manson.
KEK WTF
Reznor only has like 2 writing credits on the album
He also produced it
Based
Producing doesn't mean writing songs user....if someone hands you a fully written album and you just made it sound pretty by twisting some nobs, bam, you produced it. Or like a Rick Rubin where if you just tell someone occasionally "actually I think you should go more this and less that", you produced it.
>uh oh i thought i was a manson fan didn't know he said THAT!!!!!!!!! time to cancelllllll
