OMG you're so quirky!!!
I GET UP
I GET DOOOWWWNNN
ok kurt
That album is just shit and unpleasant, if I wanted to hear so bad it's good I'd listen to WL/H
What's that?
Op you're a faggot, listen to shitty music and acting like you understand it, doesn't make you high iq
if you understand it you rate it 0.5 on RYM and move on with your life.
white light/white heat by the velvet underground. I actually think its a good album
Nice sarcasm fellow user!
Based
an album like this shows you that most people who make music appear to be incapable of making music that isn't riddled with cliches and an almost complete lack of a distinct identity
that doesn't make this album good
I don't need Shaggs to understand that Dolphy is a better player than some anonymous alt-sax that I could never ever identify in a blind-test.
Shaggs is shit because it's unlistenable. It gets no bonus points from me for being unique.
theyre disconnected from the trends and cliches of mainstream culture and this allows them to make music with a distinct identity, something which most musicians are incapable of, they are literally outsiders
to me, even if i overall dislike something, uniqueness makes anything at least good insofar as it is unique, even if its bad in every other way, though personally i actually do like the shaggs for some of their timbral/textural qualities. i also think that you can detect earnest emotion in the music. and also an album's ability to demonstrate something about the nature of reality is also a positive quality to me. also, a big part of why Dolphy is special is because he is unique.
God. I hope you're being sarcastic.
Here's some so bad it's flat out bad shit right here... Give it a listen, if you dare.....
No thanks. If you want to listen to garbage music and be really pretentious about it, I recommend Boulez. If you want good music, there's pic related.
Do you like the Fugs first album?
It's good. The Fugs remembers me of some of the Alan Lomax field recordings with a little bit better production. But stay away from me, my ears are damaged.
