don't worry OP I don't like it much either, Just Like Heaven is good, rest very ehhhhhh, some of the poppier tracks I fucking hate

It's their weakest 80s album. Too long and not very memorable.

It has some bangers that really require another look:
The Kiss
If Only Tonight We Could Sleep
Catch
One More Time
Like Cockatoos
A Thousand Hours

I was stunned by how much Why Can't I Be You annoyed me. I can't stand that piece of crap.

I prefer it to Disintegration personally, although it is a bit of a sprawling mess.

Right minded Cure fans agree that 17 seconds, Faith and Porno are the 3 best though...

>not The Top

Eh, nothing beats Disintegration. This guy sums up my thoughts on why pretty well.

>pleb faggot announces his shit taste
congratulations

Their best pop album

Their best pop album

That's not Head on the door

You'll learn to like it. It's secretly their best pop album and it gets better with each listen. Wish it was a bit more cohesive other than being a random mix of "sad love song", "happy love song".

Also
>Why Can't I Be You
>How Beautiful You Are
>All I Want
>Hey You!
>Shiver And Shake

they were a singles band

terrible post

Disintegration plays like a fucking movie. I can't listen to songs from that album outside the context of the album.

Agree with all of this. Except I really love the head in the door and three imaginary boys...but after the trilogy obviously.

It's the harsh truth. Yea Forums still harbors that hangover rockist attitude from its earlier days and doesn't understand that there's really no shame in this. The Cure are like New Order, they released like 20 of the best songs of the 80s, some of the all-time great singles ever released. It's fine to admit that outside of a few exceptions their album tracks just weren't all that. Grow the fuck up you manchildren

Idiotic post. What I meant to say was simply “agree with all of this”.
