Shaped the sound of an entire decade following, influenced the entirety of electronic music and beyond to rap, pop, and probably rock (Korn?? Lmao). Holds a special place in my heart as a zoomer

unironically

Gorillaz - Feel Good INC

why are 16 year old boomers in this board so obsessed with 17 year old zoomers?

YOU FAGGOTS DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT ZOOMER MEANS

Generation Z, people born approx 1997-2010. Am a 2000 lad so I can speak on behalf of my bredren

Fuck your pigeonholing. Hey Ya is an anthem for anyone.

It's funny, because I remember a few years back 97 borns were lumped in with 94 borns rather than 2000 borns, and considered "early 2000s kids". But now in 2019, they're "undisputed zoomers" with "no memories before Soulja Boy". A complete 180 in opinions if I ever saw one

Idk this seems like something more suited to late millenials, born in early 90s, would have heard the song in their early-to-mid teens. I heard it when I was like 8 years old and liked it but it doesn't feel anthemic of my generation anymore than some System of a Down song or something. I guess the Gorillaz as a whole were influential on Zoomer music though, had a certain emo-rap tinge

The lines aren't that strict, people I've known born in 97 have traits of both late millenials and early zoomers, probably dependent on things like nationality, economic status, etc

Yeah your right. I was unsure of what year a zoomer is born in. I was just going off Hey Ya, as that was a big tune around the same time as feel good inc, if my memory serves me right. I was in primary school at this time.

I hate edm with a passion but the production still amazes me, its like seen cartoons in 4k 90fps, its childish shit but damn it pleases the neurons

I GOT HOESSSSSSSSSSSSSS

>youtu.be/s4z2CE_21fA
CAUSE YOU ARE A LONER LONER MARIJUANA ENDORPHINS MAKE YOU STRONGA

you can't claim that song, it's an anthem for middle era millennials who were around 10-16 in 2003

2000 zoomer here, everyone my age remembers all the hits from lady gaga, pitbull, jennifer lopez, britney spears, kesha, eminem etc. I would say any of those would qualify.

STFU boomer

This "[generation] anthem" thing is confusing, like do you mean childhood anthems or teenhood anthems?

Zoomer childhood culture began around 2005-07 with Hannah montana, iCarly, Ben 10, the Wii, etc. While Zoomer teenhood culture probably began around 2014-2015 with the breakthrough of mumble rap, trap, Filthy Frank, Vine, etc.

2003 was still part of the late millennial childhood culture, for the most part. It wasn't until 2005-2007 that Zoomer childhood culture became dominant with Web 2.0.

I hated this song when it was out. But I hindsight, it was a nice little tune

youre not wrong

that's late millennial

In terms of high school cultural music, 2008-2014 was mostly late millennial (before the zoomer trap took over around 2014-2015). However, in terms of childhood music, early zoomers were jamming out to those songs in elementary-middle school.

No it's early zoomer

youtube.com/watch?v=GbjwfQG_N_Y

I'm calling it: after this song's video is released it will be her first no.1 hit. It NEEDS to be so.

Zoomers are now nostalgic for the late 00s-early 10s, once widely considered the downfall shit era.

it's still a zoomer anthem the same way take on me is
t. born in 2000

You were 3 (unconscious) when it came out so it wasn't part of your cultural era

>the same way take on me is

i was born in 1996 and i'm not sure if that makes me a zoomer because everyone gives different definitions for these stupid fucking words

If you want to listen to the non rap zoomer songs then this is the playlist I'd go with

I can listen to the first 30 seconds for ages

The rest is unbearable

zoomers don't listen to music they just game and watch youtube lmao

This man speaks the truth.

you're safe bro, zoomers are post-1998

youtube.com/watch?v=fZIRuMZA4_0

real zoomer anthem

Most people here are autistic as fuck and don't have the social awareness to actually know what a "zoomer" is. There are retards who unironically believe that people born in 1997 are zoomers. I even got called a zoomer once for being born in 95. Its pretty clear that 2000-2005 is peak zoomer.
