I bought this guy's dead Granny's old record collection for fifty cents a record. These look like the biggest finds to me but idk if they're worth anything, the sleeves are quite fucked but the records look fine. What do you think?

Are Beatles album really worth money? Aren’t they best selling albums anyways?
they are not worth anything. just look at the condition
Yea but like, don't people go mad for this shit? This looks old as fuck
Also got this Chicago record with a sweet gatefold
I would buy it from you for 25 cents
That’s the first Chicago album, you are in for a treat
I love freeform
Late 60s capitol repress? I have one like that, worth a little if the seams aren’t split and it isn’t scratched. The Simon and Garfunkel is decent but not worth money
Beatles is the most expensive band there is, but of course we are then talking about rare albums, not later reissues of Sgt Pepper
Not repress sorry
Also looking close at the cover the disk would have to be really nice for that to be worth more than 5
Only if you are talking about the numbered copies of white album
A lot of my Beatles lps are original pressing and they aren’t the most expensive
well of course albums aren't the thing that's worth the most money but there are Lps that are worth around 1000 euro for sure.
Main point being that Beatles is a highly collectible band.
Got this monster Beethoven thing. Heavy as fuck, 21 records.
Nice. Hope the orchestra is good.
believe it or not but it's worth close to nothing
Classical music on vinyl is either absurdely expensive or completely useless. Market is very specialised.
>no. 5
IT HAS A LOW NUMBER GUYS
THAT MEANS ITS MORE EXPENSIVE LMAO
It was the personal copy of the manager or some shit like that. Of course it's gonna be expensive.
It means it was the 5th pressed copy of the White Album in existence. I agree paying that much for stuff is stupid but, if anything is worth money than the 5th made album by the most popular band on earth should be worth money.
So?
Its the same as album 84930
Nonsense
Since the first four went to John George Paul and Ringo, yeah number five would have been pretty special
Maybe don’t yap when you don’t fucking know anything
number 84930 is not the lowest number in existence, it's also not George Martins personal copy.
You have to undertand that 1-4 is off-limits forever so the person who has number #5 is forever coolest.
I don't know what this is but I think I'll keep it
what I meant was that no collector will own 1-4, those copies will never reach the market. If you buy number 5 then that's the lowest number you will ever get to chance to purchase.
And again, it was the personal copy of the manager. These two reasons are why its so expensive.
My mom had that, cheesy but cool mariachi influenced brass band

Apparently Ringo auctioned off Johns copy for a million
oh shit I didnt know that, thank you
It was a million dollars man, for all intents and purposes you were right. No one collector will ever own that, some corporation does
Well yeah! I don't mind being slightly wrong. I was just excited to learn about the sale.
OP, you should check them on Discogs.
It's a la the same as a digital file, so why bother with vinyl on the first place?
are you being ironic or what? shitty sleeve condition, both million selling albums, of course they're not worth anything
my dad has two copies of each beatles record plus a bunch of their singles all original pressings. i should steal them and sell them.
I'll give you 50 bucks
Can ya wait till he’s dead at least hfs
