Albums that aged like milk
Albums that aged like milk
True. Vapor Trails was a weak comeback and the remix wasn’t enough to save it.
i like the remix but the original made rick rubin seem subtle
>remixed version
>aged like milk
agree with the original though, shit make Death Magnetic sound like Pet Sounds in comparison
even the remix is a bottom 3 rush album
incorrect, this album is more important than ever
>importance reflects quality
It's fucking terrible and proof you can trick people into liking anything
How
>important
it'd be fucking crazy if we judged music based on music instead of social justice wankery
Holy cow just look at this cover art
>worse than Presto
>worse than Hold Your Fire
>worse than Roll the Bones
>worse than Caress of Steel
>worse than s/t
nope
>worse than presto
yes
>worse than hold your fire
yes
>worse than roll the bones
roll the bones has it's own "comedy gold" tier
>worse than caress of steel
every single song on caress of steel is solid
>worse than s/t
s/t is worst album
>every single song on caress of steel is solid
Lol no. “I Think I’m Going Bald” is shit, and “Necromancer” and especially “Fountain of Lamneth” are a bit aimless. Caress of Steel is overrated.
I dont hate it
Actually I forgot Going Bald was on Caress of Steel because I unironically deleted it. It's a terrible rehash of the s/t. But the rest of Caress of Steel is top tier. It's a bit floaty and aimless, but I really like Tales from Topographic Oceans so that doesn't matter to me.
I don’t think Caress is overall bad, I just hardly ever revisit the album. The longer prog songs could’ve benefited from some more careful thought to the structure imo. Although I do appreciate the album because its absolute commercial failure was the kick in the pants Rush needed to reinvigorate their music.
Serious question. I'm a big Rush fan and I really enjoy Roll the Bones.
Why does the consensus hate it?

SHOOT THE FACTS
GONNA KICK SOME GLUTEUS MAX
IT'S A PARALAX, YA DIG?
Yeah I don’t get it either. The only complaint I ever see is that the title track’s rap is silly.
>this is what important means now
