oh girl

but Suicide are actually good

except suicide is a minimal synth band while dg are over the top sonic maximalism

suicide is original, and inventive, dg are not.

I'm in that period of the year: I listen the first album again and again.
I'm looking for the second one but can't find it.
The third one: Way Of Life took is time to click but I'm enjoying it now.

hmm turn me on

Lets hear it for Frankie

what's the Frankie Teardrop of Death Grips

what exactly about death grips is non original and not inventive?

why do you even bother responding to posters like that?

there's nothing death grips have done that wasn't already done by Dalëk, Atari Teenage Riot and M.I.A.

*homosexuals, but i get your point

Did Suicide make anything worth checking out except Selftitled?

The third one takes some time getting used to but it's worth a check. There's the first version of Jukebox Baby.

What did Death Grips do that was original and innovative?

Anyone notice how bruce Springsteen’s Nevada (peculiarly state trooper) is heavily influenced by suicide’s 1977 st?

A Way of Life is quickly becoming a new favorite and is definitely worth checking out. Plus Alan Vega is basically elvis on crack on that album

This

bump

Only listened S/T and part of the Second Album, which it seems interesting and more elaborated than the simplistic first one. Yeah i think they're pretty worthy

DREAM BABY DREAM

second album is extremely underrated, it's like suicide turned pop, rev's still raping his drum machine but there's some really cool melodies going on that get stuck in your head. i don't know any other 80s album that abuses the drum machine as much as that.
some of martin rev's solo stuff is worth checking out, at least his first one, he's a bit all over the place. i haven't listen to vega's though his last album was apparently really good and was his own blackstar

on gp or up sleeve

dont you know
you gotta keep that dream burnin babe
*yelps into microphone*

pic related is my favorite suicide record.

Way of Life is good if you like 80's synthpop.

Centuries of Damn or On GP

yet they made better industrialist music than any of those artists

based

pic related and their first demos which you can find in "the second album" are pretty good
