this remind me of a time when i used to listen to a lot of winterkälte. into it.

Me
I must say nice voice and nice singing, I think the beat is kind of generic and predictable though. The sound and timbre are nice and spft on the ear but it lacks an element of catchiness that I get from other boom bap instrumentals. Good job
Sounds vast as fuck, like being in space. Love the atmosphere the organ creates, it has such a good texture. The weird singing just complements the instruments. Very interesting.
Wow, pretty impressed by this as well. Instrumental is super cute, sounds like candy tastes. I dug the various switchups. I would have preferred less effects on the singing, not really a fan kf that type of whispery sound but the actual singing is good.

>winterkälte

just heard one track and I'm a fan. thanks for that mate

>soundcloud.com/trablastara
Can't believe you didn't include DeMarco in your list of influences. Drift sounds a lot like Cooking Up Something Good. I really like everything in Phonos. The vocals are impressively on-point, and compliment the guitar nicely. I Didn't Know Why starts with really good guitar work. Continued impressive vocal work. SKITS is a really fun listen, reminds me of mid-twentieth century rock'n'roll. I bet it's real fun to play. I like your work :)

>soundcloud.com/dmn2398
Damn, dude. You make some real hard shit. The rhythm you've got is sick. I really want to hear an aggressive vocalist over this stuff.

>m.soundcloud.com/imbred
Cool guitar. Vocals could use some reverb, maybe. Also, whatever program you use, bump the volume a bit, especially for the guitar. I know the red area seems like a bad thing in most programs, but music like yours actually thrives in that range. It'll make the files more listenable.

I've posted this in two other active shill threads, but I'm trying to get as much feedback as possible. Anyways, I just released this 5 track playlist yesterday. It takes some inspiration from Death Grips, Rage Against the Machine, and The Beastie Boys. It's very power chord and riff oriented, all done in key of E. I don't know whether it can be considered alt rock, but if I were to give it three descriptive genres:

>Alternative
>Psychedelic
>Industrial

In the process of touching up the first album. Will be back with reccs and feedback.

Back again. Thread's filling up so here we go with the feedback. Listening with a good set of headphones btw.

Solid production. Everything sounds clear and crips while having enough volume to push serious air. Solid Lo-Fi Alt R&B I r8. Think the track needs more bass though. Would take it beyond just easy listening to danceable as well.

This dude always makes interesting, weird stuff that I dig. I think to some the track could get sliiiightly repetative around the 2min mark. Maybe a slight rhythm change with less harmonic content or a shift towards a different structure could add some extra spice to the track.

Good to see you again dude. Check this out if you want some really weird, filthy sounds from all kinds of genres and styles.

A personal top 10 in any given sharethread for me. Podge's production is impeccable, and the experience as a whole is not only unique, but genuinely fun to listen to.

Jesus dude, grain is naaaaaaaasty. Perfect track length as well - doesn't overstay its welcome. Real thicc electronics with girth, visceral power and filthiness.

Damn that introduction pulse really scrombles my left ear. Anyways very nice atmosphere building. The Day of Wrath album as a whole is much darker then I thought it would be, considering the profile pic for the page. Really dense and encapsulating.

Listened to Scars. I think you could work on yout rhythm, maybe practising solidly to a metronome to get things tighter. The vocals feel sliiightly out of place to the music. Like you aren't singing with much conviction to what you're saying.

Appreciate the kind words man. Listened to a couple of tracks off of Wannabe Pharoah. Dude this fucking shakes. Sounds really fresh, organic, ballsy and honest. Production's perfect for the sound you're going for. I know I'm one to talk, but I'd love to hear your vocals more upfront in the mix. They're that solid for me.

I appreciate it, man. I might re-release the collections if I get around to recording some organic drums. The cymbal sample I used with my MIDI drums annoys me a bit, lol. But I might bump up the vocals a decibel and see if it sounds better. Seriously appreciate the feedback. Keep making dope music.

--Update--
Finished my hifi setup recently and re-recorded Dropout Journey’s lead vocals and guitar, very satisfied with the new recording so I figured I'd release it early. Here's an updated demo of Dropout Journey.

The singles have very foreboding instrumentals, Man Who Will Know the Lie especially feels like it would fit right at home as a sample in a trip hop track. On "Medicine" the vocals around 3:03 could use a little less hard panning imo but I still like it.

me.

I listened to whir 2 and it reminded me a lot of Nurse with Wound. nice work, I think it would go well as a background track to an industrial art film. Desolation was a good dark ambient track. I listen to stuff like Kammerheit and Svartsinn while I'm stalking.

Quality stuff. grain and WASTE had good film score potential. I thought untied was too triptech for my liking but still good.

I love the production on this thing, the sounds are so cute.
I listened to grain. Imagine if industrial machines made hip-hop beats, this track would be that. Good job!
I listened to introduction, I liked when the track opened itself by not being confined only to the left ear, after then I could abstract and try to imagine in what kind of place this track could be in.
I listened to go home, that track is basically garage rock for military training, it would go well with some imagery of soldiers training to the sound of this.

So dirty yet so clean. Nice mixing.

IMO Black Cat doesn't show off your vocal asset enough and is a bit long for how repetitive it is. But it is pretty damn creative I feel. Seems like it could be in the new live-action Cats film. Lol. Good shit though I love the creativity.

Vocals are pretty hard to distinguish, but ayeee mine are as well. Love the energy of the vocals nonetheless and the instrumental production is pretty rad. You record the guitar yourself?

Duuude double down on figuring out what sound works best for you because Drift sounds hella nice and could be HELLA HELLA nice if you did... something mixing wise to it... I'm not an expert so idk what I'm talking about anyways. :)
