hey that's fair, but i hated m b v a year before the old italian man gave it a rating
from my experience, shoegaze feels like hit and miss by its nature. you have a melody and a wall of noise, if these two separate sounds don't synergize well with each other, the resulting music seems to be less than the sum of its part (heck, less than one of its parts even). i reckon the band tried to pull of their loveless sound, but this time the 2 parts didn't hit it off well.
