yes and it's great
Opeth's song structures are too random to be compared to Tool, who uses a lot more repetition and variation on a theme to glue everything together.
opeth usually keeps a motif throughout the song
not really, they jump around quite a bit and then come back to a main idea. Some songs are more cohesive than others, and there are some that just just a bunch of unrelated riffs glued together
More like if Pink Floyd made death metal
this but post-Rogers Floyd
>opeth
>death metal
>Tool uses a lot more repetition and variation on a theme to glue everything together
Yeah, same as AC/DC
low iq post
Opeth is a lot better than Tool.
>Opeth

Metal for genre tourists
I saw them live once and they sucked ass.
>Tool

I love how Mikael always looks like a latent lit homosexual who came out from the 70s.
He looks cool.
It literally sounds nothing like tool you fucking moron
"hahaha fing iz poplar so it bad" Low iq mindset.
Not as good as Mikael's former band IMO
Uhhh opeth has been around since the late 90s. Bloodbath was a side project from the mid 2000s. Take a lap zoomer
You can only defend that claim if you forget everything released after Ghost Reveries
>"hahaha i listen to mass-producted muzak disguised as sophisticated music"
even lower IQ mindset.
completely wrong and also you picked an album without mike's vocals.
