I like 3's and 7's

their best tbqh

Wtf? Why are the bulbs broken? Is this a reference to PCP abuse?

misfit love is the best song off the album

anyone excited for the new QOTSA album? Grohl is back

this was the first queens of the stone age song i ever heard
brings me great memories

i think it's just a desert sessions album, isn't it?

fuck didn't know this, when is the release?
right, i'm designer and turnin' come very close tho

It's apparently also going to feature ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons. Holy shit.

Misfit Love's last minute is the best part of the song

BATTERY ACID IN MY VEINS

BOOOOOOOOOOOOY

UNIDENTIFIED REMAINS

'Run, Pig, Run' is my favorite track

It genuinely confuses me when people say this is one of QOTSAs weaker albums. Into The Hollow is easily one of their best songs

It’s the most run-of-the-mill albums

i thought he said
SICK
SICK
SICK
DONT
GET
SICK

They're just that good
Worst Queens album is like a 7-8

On halloween apparently

I want to get into QotSA but the only albums i've listened to are pic related and OP's pic

Given that apparently OP's album is the worst, which albums do you recommend i listen to and in what order ?

Songs for the Deaf then if you like it just start at the beginning afterwards.

I used to love Turnin on the Screw, until I used it as my alarm. Best way to ruin a song, right there. Fun Machine is still godlike though.

...Like Clockwork is the best one to start with, so good there
i guess go with Songs for the Deaf, then Rated R, then S/T, then either Lullabies to Paralyze or Villains
for me, Lullabies and Villains are both really forgettable
my tastes aren't the norm, but i would rank the albums as like...
S/T > Era Vulgaris > Songs for the Deaf > ...Like Clockwork = Rated R > Villains > Lullabies to Paralyze

most underrated and secretly the best song

if you want more Queens after that, there's also the one Them Crooked Vultures album and there's Desert Sessions stuff
TCV is a super-group with Josh Homme of QOTSA on guitar and vocals, John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin on bass, and Dave Grohl of Nirvana and Foo Fighters on drums

Villains is a 6 though

some pretty great tracks on it, the production and the mix really makes brings out the best out of some songs

Turnin' on the Screw
I'm Designer
Suture Up Your Future

the others really sound better as acoustics, there's this set they did in 2007, somewhere in Europe and its very, very good

I highly appreciate it. I'll give them a try

THEY SAY BIGGER'S BETTER, WELL BIGGER'S BIGGER

THE JURY'S IN, VERDICT: RETARDED

Post Pop Depression by Iggy Pop (and Josh Homme) is a must listen, and I'm not even a big Iggy/Stooges fan

QOTSA is so flat and lifeless compared to Kyuss.

i like qotsa but this is true

Villains is easily a 7.5 at least. The style is just different from what fans of the band are used to, but it’s a great album regardless.

kyuss's vocals are horrible

this
i can't get into kyuss because of this

being ascended patrish is realizing and understanding that self titled/rated r/sftd/lullabies to paralyze/era vulgaris/like clockwork are sound different from each other and are equally good, and which one is best is based on mood and personal preference

being ascended patrish is also realizing villains is by far the worst and most low quality thing qotsa has done and only the last track on the album is any good

actually, domesticated animals is easily the best track off villains

Villains is like a 3.5. So is Lullabies.

mark ronson shitted up that whole album. on a technical level the tracking and mixing is shitty to the point where you can notice, but the production choices are bad. i wonder if matador forced them to use ronson

Faggot band

this and battery acid
based

for me, the best and most memorable songs off era vulgaris are turnin' on the screw, misfit love, and battery acid
