Is it still the greatest Hip Hop album of all time?
Is it still the greatest Hip Hop album of all time?

Can we please have more interesting hip-hop discussion on Yea Forums, please?
Nah, not since white people came along and made the genre good.

Any rapper who prioritized lyrics over music is a pretentious faggot
nah this is
Mos definitely not
Its either Takes a Nation of Millions, Madvillainy, 36 Chambers, Mystic Styles, or Deltron 3030
i thought beautiful thugger girls was only mediocre compared to b6 or jeffery
nah DOOM considers himself a producer and writer first before an emcee. check yourself idiot
nah
Lil Baby, DaBaby, Young Thug, Chief Keef, Freddie Gibbs and Roddy Rich are best in show dawg
lmao even on release day lost tapes 2 threads got 3 to 4 replies.
I like illmatic best. hiphop has changed a lot over the years but I find myself come back to this one the most. A lot of great albums were put out around this time and even before, very few later than 2000 tho. still good stuff. not the best.
Are you sure you're replying to the right person?
I think he is. he implies that DOOM is prioritizing lyrics over music but at the same time DOOM doesnt think he is a rapper in the first place, thus not a pretentious faggot. makes no sense, because he is a producer, writer and mc at the same fucking time. its not as if a person switches with different versions of himself.

has to be bait.... right?
yeah probably
All those albums are good though, the only 4 is Igor but he obviously added that to bait retards like (You)
36 Chambers is and I think it should be a majority opinion. Find me an album with more exciting and entertaining rapping than that one. You have 9-10 of the best lyricists in the history of the genre constantly flying in and out, finishing each other’s lines, providing backing vocals, and so you’re constantly being thrown something different. RZA’s production is perfect and the beats are always subtly evolving to suit each member’s style. And it’s more fun to listen to on repeated listens once you start to pick up on each members unique aspects and once you’ve learned all the great one liners
First post is the best one.
