Leisure
Think Tank
The Magic Whip
Weird how they can be so hit and miss, but there we are.
Modern Life is Rubbish > Think Tank > Blur > 13 Parklife > The Great Escape > The Magic Whip > Leisure
They're criminally underrated.
Coffee & TV is one of the best singles ever released in popular music
Haven't really listened since high school, but yes I agree
Blur and The Inbetweeners depress the fuck out of me because they remind me of how old I am.
It also has one of the cutest and comfiest music vids out there.
my older sister bought me Modern Life is Rubbish as a birthday gift before i was a teenager ONLY for the cover art, because i was huge train loving nerd as a kid. Still today the best gift she's ever given to me
I can honestly say that S/T is one of my favourites, if not my favourite album.
i wonder why most Blur fans think Magic Whip is mid to low tier, I think it's got a lot going for it
definitely notice that Gorillaz fans love Think Tank, while Blur fans hate it
>>shit tier
>Think Tank
imagine having this opinion
No Coxon, no good. Think Tank is basically a Gorillaz record, and Gorillaz suck outside of a few catchy hits.
has anyone listened to coxon's solo stuff? is it any good?
magic whip is probably my favourite blur album, a lot of their 90s shit does my head in. think tank has some alright stuff on it
>has anyone listened to coxon's solo stuff?
Yes
>is it any good?
Not especially. He works better when he has someone to reign him in a bit.
13 is fucking based

Gorillaz is a blend of rock and hip hop. Think Tank sounds nothing like it, it sounds much like 13 and s/t but with even less guitars and more varied influences. I love how unique it sounds.
Coffee & TV has one of the best videos ever made. The song is ok, but a little too generic, especially on an album like 13.
s/t > 13
Newfag and underage b&
Only listened to The Sky is Too High and Love Travels at Illegal Speeds. Liked Love Travels more, it's a pretty great record.
Imagine thinking Leisure isn't their best album
13 > s/t > Parklife > Magic Whip > Modern Life > Great Escape > Think Tank > Leisure
its not their best but i always go back to listen there's no other way, bad day and slow down, they're great tracks. my favorite is 13 though.
this more or less (except I think Think Tank should be lower because it has good individual tracks but poor cohesion as an album)
but also, more importantly,
The Blue Hour > Night Thoughts > Bloodsports >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The Magic Whip
13 and Ray Of Light are two of the best turn-of-the-millennium albums and it's no coincidence William Orbit produced both
based
they're not bad, but suede were much better
both of them >>> oasis though
Can we agree though that this is the best blur song
