Based
The greatest EP of all time

This EP probably overshadows every other rock album from the 90's imo. Also thanks for the compliment.

wholeheartedly agree. i still think it's a tragedy there wasnt more of an exploration of this sound outside of some demos

Best one ITT so far

Igorrr & Ruby My Dear - Maigre

imagine thinking eminem has ever put out a good piece of music.

>not posting the greatest ep ever made

I can. It's a mid-tier grunge record which serves only as a practice run for the actual good material they'd release on Undertow.

FUCK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

How in the actual fuck is tool grunge? are you retar? have you taken your meds?

Listen to hush right now, lol

but he did?

Aside from the title track and maybe Part of Me, Opiate is grunge as fuck.

Hush is more hardcore punk than anything else on the album, the rest are def acid/alt rock with a sorta grungy vibe, none of the songs on this ep are fully grunge

Pure - Jesus Lizard
Paganicons - Saccharine Trust

Listening*

>Hush is more hardcore punk
Like Nirvana then?

>alt rock with a sorta grungy vibe
So... grunge?

this desu

Whatever man, doesn’t stop opiate from being a 10/10 ep, a perfect beginning to an amazing band

>Nirvana
>Hardcore punk

Excuse me?

If Hush is hardcore punk, then Bleach certainly is.

IMO that entire record is the best showcase of Gavins drumming. Shows what he can do when he is unleashed.

Fun fact, this was the first EP to hit #1 on billboard
The second wasn't until 2005 with Linkin Park's Collision Course EP with Jay-Z

OP here. I recall reading this a few years ago. In all honesty, i was blown away by that fact.

Runrig - Capture The Heart, obviously
