Man, genres are weird. I've heard and love like half those albums but I'd never call them shoegaze in a million years.

Why is most shoegaze so boring? I can get into slowdive and two songs by mbv and that's it, every other essential album in the genre doesn't sound dreamy or anything, it's literally just slower post punk with an iota of reverb added

I'm extremely weak for Finnish female vocals. I've only listened to Tähtiin once a few days ago but I really liked it, and it sounds like a record that will only grow with each listen.
