So on first listen, it's a good fun record but the majority of the tracks are quite forgettable and everything's just a bit samey. I much, much prefer Fishing for Fishies but don't begrudge them for trying out the sound. It's just that in this case the sound seems to be a bit of a crutch, where previously they've always employed great songwriting in addition to whatever gimmick they employ.
