I really like the eclectisism in the melody, especially the times it went phrygian. Your voice is really stylish and it opens itself for conceptual narrative songs.
I like My Hometown Empties, though I don't really hear any blues in it. Anyway, the chord selection is good, but I think the "chords on the honkey tonk" and "clavinet melody leading" duology would have worked better if you did the backing chords on the honkey tonk and did some solo work on the clavinet over the chords, and maybe add some modulation to other tonality or modal scales.

could use more bass for sure, drums are a little flat in the low end as well, could use a solid mix, let me know if you want a hand sometime. songwriting itself isn't bad though, like the post-grunge feel, haven't heard danzig-esque vocals in a while.

thanks user. the lament for trielle one meant a lot to me because that was the death of a character who was special to me but represented a catharsis in my life. pretty autstic and hard to explain but it was inspired by the ANO Remix of Turn It Down which I listened to on the train the morning after she "died" and her friend was returning home from the battle wondering how many more people he would lose, I was thinking about that while looking out at the gray sky and endless urban sprawl near NYC. it felt kino.
