I'm Catholic, but as a general thing, I think music and religion should not mix. Example: I prefer a "said Mass." Mass without music or singing.
I feel that if I want music, I can play music at home or I can go to a concert. I go to church to get inspired, to "get my religion on." I find music in such a setting to be a diversion.
