GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAF

To be continued...

Motorpsycho
Umphrey's McGee

Close To The Edge is the only Yes album worth half a damn

This.

Motorpsycho were only good before they went full prog.

Just go to Progarchives

Terrbile opinion

What have you listened to already?

HOLY
F U C K

IS THAT A MOTHERFUCKING JOJO REFERNCE???????????

>Motorpsycho were only good before they went full prog.
They definitely were better up to and including Black Hole/Blank Canvas, but there are still great songs here and there. I do feel like they're suffering from the King Gizzard syndrome though.

Neal Morse is great if you don't mind Christian music.

Listen to Lizard by King Crimson

extremely based post

*every Yes album with less than 10 songs

yes

Right group. Wrong album.

Try Going For the One.

mostly yes, pink floyd gentle giant

PFM's first album. Pink Floyd, Queen, Rush, and many others straight-up lifted parts from this record on their big hit albums. Also, it's really emotional and beautiful.

Besides that, Os Mutantes, Rush - Hemispheres, Area and Mahavishnu Orchestra.

Here's some more unpopular choices.

Chris Squire - Fish out of Water
Steve Hackett - Voyage of the Acolyte
Yes - Relayer
Rick Wakeman - The Six Wives of Henry VIII

Maybe king gizz is suffering from the motorpsycho syndrome? A thought

Right group. Wrong album.

Try Close To The Edge.

king crimson / early genesis

In what universe is Relayer an unpopular choice? It's probably their most acclaimed album after CTTE and Fragile.

the title track is the only not awful song on close to the edge

Relayer is the best Yes album by far.

Not really. It's about as unpopular as their first or second albums but that really depends on who you ask. If you know and like Relayer, lucky you.

the order of good classic yes albums goes something like

close to the edge
fragle
the yes album
tales from topographic oceans
and then finally relayer if you're not going to count the live album and if you're ignoring their new wave shit

TFTO is half stretched-out prog wank, and that's coming from a huge Yes fan. You can make 20 minutes exciting or boring prog, and Yes showcased how the latter is possible four times in a row on that record.

based van der poster

The first song on TfTO is a banger tho

pretty average album desu

fuck off

Prog can't be moocore since art hoes get anxiety attacks everytime they try to listen to it.
It's just too different than the John Maus they're used to :^/

I agree that TFTO is better than Relayer, but Relayer is more popular. Also maybe even more than The Yes Album.

This is the best prog rock album ever made and Starless is the best song ever

>This is the best prog rock album ever made
no
>Starless is the best song ever
perhaps

you HAVE to listen to Aqualung by Jethro Tull.
Never listened to prog until my old professor made me listen to it. I'm a fan now

Attached: jethro-tull-aqualung.jpg (900x885, 146K)

Discipline is a better record but Starless might be the best song ever indeed

I don't get the discipline hype, sheltering sky and discipline are both alright tracks that drag the album down for me. I like beat better

What else did he make you do?

He made me listen to Genesis and the Police too

Emerson Lake & Palmer are great, I reallly liek Tarkus

Seru Giran - La Grasa de las Capitales
La Maquina de Hacer Pajaros - Peliculas
Los Jaivas - Alturas de Machu Pichu

lolno, it's not even their best

Bad band

These are better. Also
Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells
Pink Floyd - Atom Heart Mother
Nektar - Journey to the Centre of the Eye
The Mothers of Invention - Weasels Ripped My Flesh
Soft Machine - Third
Robert Wyatt - Rock Bottom
Gong - Flying Teapot
Egg - The Polite Force
Quiet Sun - Mainstream
Henry Cow - In Praise of Learning
This Heat - Deceit
Univers Zero - Ceux du dehors
The Residents - Not Available
Can - Tago Mago
Faust - Faust
Amon Düül II - Phallus Dei
Third Ear Band - Elements
Talk Talk - Spirit of Eden
Tortoise - Millions Now Living Will Never Die

Actually kill yourself.

most of these aren't really prog rock

why listen to prog when you can listen to rock classical fusion

I love Talk Talk, and Spirit Of Eden, but neither are prog

Best prog band of all: Blue Oyster Cult
