frusciante alone makes this record worth it. He said as much himself, that it was the best stuff he ever did with a guitar.
Michael Lee
What hate? I remember Dani California alone sold the fuck out of this album. Double albums are shit but there's a whole good album there
Wyatt Sanders

Stadium Arcadium [Warner Bros., 2006]
The old familiar tale of an artist's validation-by-Grammy and the double-album-that-should-have-been-a-single reveals several things. Firstly, they're an '80s band foremost--their spiritual center, such as it is, is rooted in the agony and ecstasy of heroin and cocaine. Once a bassist's band, they're now ruled by the guitarist. At least when the bassist ruled, they livened this overworked dynamic with beats. Now they tax it with tunes, at least when they're on their game, such as in the dead-end relationship song "Desecration Smile" and the marriage proposal "Put a Ring On It." B-

Flea and John as usual were great during the tour, but Anthony really phoned it in. His performances were pretty disappointing at many shows.
Luke Carter
Metal/classic rock fags will dig the outro on DC, which isn't typical of the tuneful, minimalist style John had adopted post-addiction.
Brandon Myers
>DOAM is about Flea's dog that died

Jace Wood
I think they cut out Anthony's poetry reading bit in live performances.
Andrew Morris
while i do hate dogs i also really like that song

Who gives a shit about this faggot and his opinions? Make yourself useful and dig up a based Scaruffi review.
Hunter Miller
As usual, he's more interested in the artists' personalities and motivations than the music and he highlights the 1-2 songs on the album he considers worth bothering with.
Colton Wood

They should've taken the 5 good songs on it and made an EP.
The rest would go to an assorted recordings shitlist.

Les Claypool makes Flea look like a toddler learning bass.
Isaac Taylor
And they both make 90% of all other modern rock bassists look like single-celled amoebas barely capable of processing external stimuli

Many tracks still hold up, but still a lot of generic crap. Hey is still one of my favs. Peak Fruisante guitar
