JSB is the greatest composer of all time. If you want to get into classical music, literally listen to anything by him. My personal fav is Die Kunst Der Fuge, but literally anything by him is excellent.
I like the Paganini Caprices.
And once you're done with Bach, listen to some Buxtehude, Brunz, Swellinck
What makes me a poser fucker
you don't recc to anyone or make any comments on other posts. you just hope people do it for you
^
Fuck yeah, that's no problem. The brandenburg concertos are already amongst my favorite musical pieces of all time. Which Bruhns (Nicolaus, right?) recording would you recommend?
Do you like the Itzhak Perlman rendition?
>Do you like the Itzhak Perlman rendition?
Yeah, it's probably the closest thing out there to what Paganini himself intended.
One of the things I actually dislike about getting into Classical is that there are a dozen different recordings of every piece floating around so it's not as simple as "listen to this album" like with modern music.
I'm also a sucker for Dance of the Knights while we're on the topic.
You guys should listen to more happy music.

Fuck you lazyposter.
Eloy-Metromania
Tool isn't even metal dummy. It's prog rock.
It's soft rock dumbass
It's soft prog rock retard
Pleb/10
its prog metal headass
1. Fuck lazyposters. if you're such a patrician why don't you offer recs to maybe enlighten some of us?
2. If you're going to fill a chart with weird bullshit at least do everyone the courtesy of having the titles on the side.
You liking shitty music doesn't make you not a pleb, it just makes you a pretentious asshole with bad taste in music.
1. I don't have to rec shit to plebs, this isn't free patrician music handout like the government hands out food stamps.
2. The reason I don't give out names is so plebs don't drone me. Several people here don't have names listed.
Nice try pleb, all my music is great
based Yamaya Hatsuo no Horo Kashu: Shinjuku lover
>1. I don't have to rec shit to plebs, this isn't free patrician music handout like the government hands out food stamps.
It literally is.
>2. The reason I don't give out names is so plebs don't drone me. Several people here don't have names listed.
They're all fags as well, just slightly less than you because they have at least a couple well known albums that allow people to get a general sense of their taste.
yeah except I cant look up half of those dipshit.
WHY DONT PEOPLE POST YOUTUBE LINKS
hmm this argument is making me think we need to have more structured rules when creating these threads...
Because it's tedious you dipshit
Good luck with that. It's usually up to OP to set guidelines for a thread and this one was obviously just a rec hungry lazyposter who was late to the last thread and decided to wait for it to die to avoid work.
Hey you guys, there's thus new thing on topsters2 under "show options" called "album titles" and if you click it, it pulls up a list of the albums you included in your chart as well as the artist that made it (like artist - album). Its really helpful especially for those interested in finding music on your chart. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk (tm).
I am OP. I just didn't think about it, srry. Maybe if we agree upon things and make it standardized, we can see it in more threads.
See the post above yours. Also, on the rare occasions when I've been OP for these threads I like to encourage people to check back later and give recs to people that post after them.
>rare occasion of getting a (You)
>it's either a mass quote or ironic recc
y'all don't realize what it means to struggle
What's your chart user? I'll give you a rec.

Yosvany Terry- Today's Opinion
George Braith- Extensions
Fear- The Record
Monks- Black Monk Time
i've been there
pardon me fren, i liked the look of the 4x4 square because most of my usual charts are 10x10 with titles and i wanted to force myself to do something simpler.
also an user taught me a trick in one of these threads once. download Lightshot, crop a screenshot of the mysterious cover and google image search it. its more work but it helped me find a bunch of stuff from charts in threads that had archived before i got a chance to ask.
eh it gave me a chance to reee which i can never pass up.
but it is annoying to get a mass reply, that much is for damn sure.
>Recommendation thread
>OP literally says send recs
>Sends literally no recommendations
>"hmm where are the rules for this thread?"
no i'm not the pseud who refuses to send recs. I'm OP saying I should've done a better job than just saying "send recs"
>muh secret club rules
imagine getting baited by that chart thats been posted forever
Electric Light Orchestra II (I noticed you like ELO and prog so, why not combine both)
