White Album is for pseuds who can't into actual experimental music but want to impress people by naming "le experimental one!! xD" as their favourite Beatles record, despite it being far from experimental and also an inconsistent tedious mess of an album. White Album has the best Beatles songs by far on it, though it is bloated. I don't think too many people would pick it as their favorite beatles album just because it's "experimental" . In fact I don't think anyone refers to the whole album as experimental, just certain songs like Helter Skelter and Revolution 9

In a way I agree. What I find cool about this album is that it shows a wide variety of musical taste from the lads and just how much they love/loved music. If you bother to check on their history you find out in their early days that they played all kinds of songs and not just rock n roll. One way I view this album is them playing a live show and putting it on record. All of them playing their styles and not just being monotone in sound. It has a wide set of sounds and I find not a single one is bad. Honey pie is a great little joke song for in between ob-la-di ob-la-da and bungalow bill. I find the albums runs like a show from the Beatles just being themselves at their peak songwriting without the bullshit of being a pseud at the time.
