>first song of a concept album >will tell the lives of the people of a fictional city from a series of narrators >each song title derived from a line of this song >whaling songs, political songs, songs of industry, sea shanties and more
I have written lyrics for six songs in the last week, I am very excited for this concept.
Guitars sound really great. Enjoying the spoken word delivery at parts. Unique acoustic experience my dude.
Thx as always man. Really like the brooding, dark Nick Cave-ish vibe i'm getting from this track. Your delivery sounds honest and the instruments sit well as well! Keep pumping 'em out!
Droopies are always a solid listen for those who haven't checked them out yet. Don't know what to say other then what's been said in countless threads before. You guys are great.
Yesterday's Living/World Of Tomorrow is sad, but a beautiful kind of sad. Your voice goes along well with the feelings you're trying to convey. the first two tracks are great for summer and the last track... that was fun, with those changes of pace. I see that you put in your tags Tom Waits and Nick Cave, they are two of my favorite artists so how could I not like your track?
NEW TRACK!
>triphop (I tried to influence myself by massive attack) >alternative rock
Usually not much for female vocals, but these are nice and deep, fitting the smooth and fluid track really well. Definitely has a sweet nick cave vibe, really like the guitarwork, the keyboard/piano sneaking in is good fun too. Good tale. Seems Soundcloud is fucking up all over right now. I will return to give you feedback, if the thread expires before then, I'll leave it on your cloud.
Soundcloud finally works again Your songs got a very nice positive feel to it, energetic and playful. I Didn't Know Why is my favourite of the three..have no idea what you guys are singing though lol, but it sounds good You two did a good job both - and thank you! Oopsiedoopsie :^) still sounds great though
Fourth and final single for my upcoming project Spider-Man: Redux. The album is based album on the original Spiderman video-game for PS1 Any feedback is greatly appreciated (:
>Electronic >Downtempo >Chillout >Ambient synths and techno(ish) beats
Reccs:
I remember listening to DEMO1 and i liked it. Currently listening to the Prejail Promo. I like the sound of this one much better. Only just scratching the surface of the tracks for now but I really like Ambient 1. All these bits and pieces of sounds scatered all over it feel very well placed. Defroster is banging. Methane is too heavy for my taste but maybe I will like it better on a proper listen later. Shunt is omnious. Great job on the percs on this one. Cant really make up my mind on coastlines feels very harsh. The last track has the best textures. Reminds me on the textures of Exai by Autechre. The best thing is this whole album is true to its sound and I see how the tracks work together even the ones that are too wild for my taste.
good stuff man. Not a fan of hip hop in general but I like the style of production + your voice fits in very well with the sounds.
Good shit man. I absolutely love that you make the most use of all the stereo space. Those wide spread percussions at the start kept me engaged. I really enjoyed this track. Great job on the riffs and tunes too!
this i don't think i'm better than anyone i just don't give a fuck about feedback if i like your shit i'll leave a like and a follow simple as soundcloud.com/bongun
>guitar hip hop >random beats
Jace Watson
Bumping to keep the thread alive.
First solo album:
Everything recorded with one mic in a bedroom.
No DAW, just Audacity.
Recommend listening with headphones due to large amount of stereo-related effect trickery.
> Wonky Electronics > Lo-Fi Avant Folk > Musique concrète > Harsh Noise > Drone > Outsider Music > Bedroom Rock > Avant Rock > Robot Standup Comedy Background Music > Oriental Psychedelia > Improvisation > Lo-Fi Ambient > Jamming > Ambient Country
Can't give feedback to my own work so nvm. Btw this is another group I'm busy with.
Solid production man. Some of the melodic 'percussion' around 1:20ish sound slightly out of key. Don't know i that's intentional but just thought I'd mention that it sounds slightly off.
Always recc'n this guy. Always provides for an immersive and unique ambient experience. Go check this dude out guys.
Flow sounds solid. Mix ito hi hats and bass seems oddly low. Think a beatswitch around halfway would bring the track to another level. Not bad though.
