liking the idm sound on the first track can't wait to here the finished demos and judging by the quality of the first completed track you already know what needs to be done with mastering currently listening me
These are my recent two singles, I'm working towards an EP over the next few months ^_^ >Post-punk inspired >Folky flavourings >Rather Jangly >A bit off-kilter
If you want to add some dimension to this, the easiest place to start would be adding a bass line (guitar or synth). It would do a lot to flesh out the track.
Theres some fun arpeggiated synths and the chord progression is fairly atypical, which is a breath of fresh air. I also appreciate that you arent looping 4 bars ad nauseum.
A general rule of thumb is: dont repeat a verse/chorus portion of the track unless you're adding something new. So for an instrumental, make sure youre at least adding something new into the repeat to make it worthwhile (since you dont have lyric changes).
Nothing offensive sounding, a little lackluster but definitely coherent.

Will give more detailed feedback in a sec, but I'd love some feedback on this song since its not officially released yet.

Hey, I really like your album cover. A lot. The dream pop elements of this I am really enjoying, its beyond smooth and the keys are legitimately hot. I am excited to see more from you.
I so fucking dig this and I would give so much for you to lay some tracks for my next record. The vibe is full, droney, ambient, and perfect. Also I love your voice in the background floating around. Well produced too. Nice job.
You should check out the band curling, I think they're doing stuff you might really like given your overall sense of melody you've developed. I can tell you have a big Dylan influence too, which works wonders for lo-fi. nice

I liked the background sample/droning but the drums seemed to basic. Good production
I really liked this. It was loud and rocking. The basstone is so nasty
new album "day of wrath" released today. also a note on the album "depressive suicidal black coffee" - it was published by mistake (hense the embarassing working title) so i decided to leave it up for free for now. i'll remove it on november 12 - which is also the release date for my next album.
reccs mellow didn't expect to see this here i'm not sure if this is the best or worst yet but I like it music beats cool name hey that sounds like music very minimalist just keep messin around for lotsa years. really the key to becoming master at anything. honestly today you can just watch youtube videos for everything. 10 times easier than back in the day. Pirate FLstudio (or any DAW, they have overlapping plugins and similar workflow these days, though FL was traditionally known as the easiest to learn for a while)
I think you should tweak your production a bit. Drums are a little too bright in the mix and should be toned down. Cool sound though, reminds me of a seattle-ish grunge/dance group
I normally produce techno/house but I've recently drifted into producing more downtempo stuff. Would love some feedback since this is something I'm quite new to. Will return all feedback ofc!
(love this hihats a lil sharp tho maybe eq) ( lil repetitive but i like the vibe) reccs ; ^ )
