General Soundcloud / Bandcamp Thread

ITT: we support, follow, share, and give constructive criticism to each other on various websites for music sharing such as Bandcamp, Soundcloud, Youtube, and more...but with a twist.

Let's try something new - rate other user's work out of 10.
Give constructive criticism as to why.
Pure reccs are not to be tolerated - at least say something about the work you're listening to.

Check it out.

Track One: I liked the instrumental a lot, but the vocals were a bit too loud. I wasn't feeling the vocal filter either.

Track Two: Again the instrumental was pretty good. The vocals on the hook was too quiet and the high pitched vocal overpowers it. The vocal filters weren't good on this song either. the flow for the first verse was pretty good. the flow for the second verse could be improved upon.

Track Three: This is the best mixed song on the EP imo. the instumental and the vocals are mixed together pretty well. The first vocal filter was pretty good as well. the second wasn't good.

I give this EP a 5/10 the instumentals are really good. the vocals could be if you didn't use so many sound filters/effects on them.

>dissociative organ music with sothing ooo's in the mix
>digital exterior giving vgm veneer
>4th track of VSoE

Personally my favorite moment of my single/ep 'VSoE' as it always gives me goosebumps & mind-melts when it comes up. Only thing missing is a passionate kick drum thumping each step (1,2,3,4) on the second half for more momentum but I left it as is. Also, would you call this dark ambient? Not that I'm calling it dark ambient, just asking whatcha think the genre is.

Very commendable to give a track-by-track review of his EP.

(DOED...) gives me a very fashion week vibe, I really like the spastic keys, very gabber
I enjoy the shorter vignette style songs you make, they're like little sound poems, very easy to drift off to
I've listened to some of our stuff before, but I found this to have a more concentrated sound than that release, I liked the brief video game sounding interludes
