Best Beatles album and why?
Best Beatles album and why?
this album is a masterpiece of sonic puzzle
White album
Diverse and shows the strength and versatility of their songwriting and musicianship
abbey road because side 1 has some of the best contributions from each member as a songwriter and side 2 is basically the culmination of their entire career and everything they had been working at in pop music
Revolver is slightly better than Abbey Road imo. Here, There and Everywhere is arguably the best Beatles song. Paul just shines on that album in general. I Want to Tell You is also great.
Abbey Road. Trimmed and polished to perfection.
This
I'm with you OP but only by a hair's breadth.
Also in agreement with user as my second choice.
I think it's only the cohesiveness of Abbey Road that clinches it for me. That being said there is a time and place for the labyrinth of a double disk.
Feels like I'm comparing apples and oranges really.
Let it be Naked
my favorite beatles album corresponds to the superior race on the planet
can anyone guess which one it is?
Ask me how I know you're redd*t
how do you know he's reddit, I'm curious
madman actually did it. Your move now, faggot
Daily Reminder that The Beatles will never be able to top a single Moody Blues album.
lmao the guy who originally sang for Moody Blues ended up being Paul's bitch in Wings
>originally
doesn't fucking matter, The Beatles were always the blandest 60's Group. They were to Rock what The National is now.
>le Disney music meme album
Kek
>The Beatles were always the blandest 60's Group
lmao there's no way you're serious with this one
there are literally thousands of 60s groups which sounded the exact same, and the beatles weren't one of them
I've been listening to Rubber Soul lately and I realized it's the best Beatles album.
Give me those bands.
The Sonics
TVU
Procol Harum
The Zombies
Animals
Rolling Stones
Sly And The Family Stone
Pink Floyd
CAN
High Tide
Hendrix
Zappa and Beefheart
Moody Blues
The Kinks
Beach Boys
Jethro Tull
Maybe some Garage Bands, but if we're talking serious Artistic stuff then the '60s were in fact peak originality.
Revolver is better than The White Album, any patrician here knows that
I'm fond of the album too but it comes across as a collection of catchy tunes rather than real musical craftsmanship that appears in Abbey Road / White Album
>serious Artistic stuff
hahahahahah what are you talking about you fucking mong
literally all of those bands were on major labels (apart from possibly the sonics) it is a completely commercial enterprise you melt.
You have literally no idea what level of label marketing trickery went on in order to sell these records, and most of them don't even have an impact upon original sale, most of them only survive down to posterity. Any difference you can strike between the Beatles and the rest of these bands is an artificial difference you made up in your own head. And believe me, I love most of the bands you just posted but you're making an arse out of yourself
"no"
So you wouldn't consider PF serious Art? Ok nigga.
Asians?
MMT because it just is
You didn't explain why that makes him reddit
