Do any of you guys judge someone based on their music taste?
Do any of you guys judge someone based on their music taste?
yes
Sometimes.
Only if they like ICP or Mr Bungle
tell me what you're into and then I'll decide if I should answer your question
yes. It has proven to be extremely practical, for example, in my case, I can't be friend with anyone who likes tool religiously
that's a pretty smart move friendo
the reason i ask is because this one chick i've been messaging recently made me a spotify playlist and she added the arctic monkeys and i've kind of been looking at her a little differently.
I did when I was like 15-20 then I realized it doesn't really matter since most people just put on the radio/pop channel on streaming sites
i try not to but its hard when my coworker blasts epic rap battles of history through his bluetooth speaker
i love your coworker lmao
Not generally but you can tell if someone is completely socially retarded if they listen to super obscure metal or noise related music.
You are a wise user
of course, how else do you move in the world?
i filter:
>metalheads, they gain repulsion points if theyre into "history" and role playing games too
>tool fans
>prog fans
>muse fans
>dave grohl/cornell fans
>anybody that listens more than 49% of their music time in headphones
I agree, your coworker is amazing
yes but in a different way, I only judge someone on what they don’t like
I don’t care if someone likes music that I don’t personally enjoy or whatever bc that’s just silly, but if they don’t like say, the velvet underground, I’m just like come on bro, especially when it comes to people who think they’re too cool for music/pseuds
I cant get along with people like Nirvana but only know Unplugged and even more if they only know ''lake of fire''.
who*
>no mention of rap at all
Spotted the rapshit listener.
its not that prevalent where i live. sorry that you live in the usa. very sorry.
Especially if they listen to some trash metalcore or poppy trendy bullshit.
usually
thats the primary way i judge people
Of course. It's surprisingly effective.
