honestly, MM Food is my favorite. Love all the plunderphonics on it too

At the time, it was a stand out album because of how the album was put together and flowed. Long verses, almost no hooks, interweaving skits displaying a theme. Now I can understand why someone might not really get the hype since a lot of artists do mostly the same stylistically.

This is one of the reasons the album is considered by its fans to be more high art than an average hip hop album. Nothing is longer than it needs to be.

Lil Ugly Mane or Death Grips. Also, it sounds nothing like Yeezus, but Shabazz Palaces’ Black Up is a solid release and takes hip hop in more abstract directions

Songs don't overstay their welcome, and that already puts it in the top 5% of hip hop records
